France Takes Strides Against Climate Change by Prohibiting Domestic Flights

Published on

The French government, in an attempt to quixotically fight “climate change,” has outlawed flights within France in favor of trains. This is presumably a move to prepare the slaves it controls for eventual mass-scale shipping at some future date to a climate-change concentration camp on the decaying fringes of deindustrialized Paris to be subjected to hard labor and reeducation about the dangers of carbon on carbon-based life.

CBS News:

France has passed legislation that encourages travelers to use the train in place of some domestic flights. The new law says that flights that can be replaced with a train trip of less than two and a half hours should be canceled.

The ban on short-hop flights was made law on Tuesday. France’s national carrier had already canceled three routes because of their high carbon emissions. Orly is the second airport in Paris, and it serves Bordeaux, Lyon, and Nantes. All three cities are on the extensive high-speed railway network of France, making it faster to take the train than fly.

Air France has agreed to stop these direct routes in exchange for financial assistance from the government in 2020.

The last paragraph, which was inserted into the article, without any further scrutiny, is quite interesting.

COVID lockdowns had the benefit of incentivizing self-destruction by various industries. They shut them down under the guise of Public Health and then offered government money with strings attached. In this case, certain domestic flights were voluntarily stopped. This is classic bad cop/good cop abuse.

In order to reduce emissions, European airlines have examined a variety of options. Air France announced recently plans to replace its fleet to reduce carbon emissions. Air France says that it will also increase the use of sustainable aviation gas.

In an effort to reduce carbon dioxide, the airline has already formed a partnership with France’s national railway company SNCF. The system allows passengers to book both plane and train tickets in one transaction, making it easier to compare travel methods.

Runway Girl Network, a website that covers aviation news, reports on Iberia’s expansion of its flight-train combination service. Dutch airline KLM has bought seats on a high-speed train from Schipol Airport in Amsterdam to Brussels to replace one of their daily flights.

The idea of forcing carbon reduction measures on the populace is also a training ground for eventual social credit systems of the Chinese style that track activities and assign carbon scores to different activities. If the slave goes over his/her carbon allowance for the day, week, or month then sanctions will be imposed.

This is techno-hell. If someone doesn’t intervene – perhaps starting with the McCarthy-led GOP House, the Western world will be in this state. Where the West goes, all the rest will follow.
