Hunter Biden is reportedly scheduled to appear before a Delaware Federal Court next month in connection with his plea agreement with United States Attorney David Weiss.

Hunter Biden, the former Vice President of the United States, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to two charges of federal tax violations and one charge of violating gun laws.

Legal experts say that he is unlikely to be sent to jail.

Fox News reported that he would appear in front of a judge on July 26th, who is likely to enter a plea agreement.

Hunter Biden’s lawyer said in an interview with MSNBC, if the plea agreement is accepted by the court, that no additional accusations of wrongdoing by Republicans can be brought against President Obama’s son.

Republicans said the plea agreement is another example of a system of two-tiered justice.

Merrick Garland, the Attorney General of the United States, reacted to this idea on Wednesday. Garland, however, did not mention his March remarks to Congress: that he personally would have to approve any charges brought against Hunter Biden.

Garland refused to name a Special Counsel in the Tax Investigation to create a separation between President Joe Biden’s Justice Department and Garland, according to allegations made in April by a IRS whistleblower.

Hunter Biden’s lawyer also admitted on Tuesday that the charges against his client had “nothing to do” with the information found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned “laptop of hell.”

Jonathan Turley, a professor and attorney at George Washington University Law School who teaches in the New York Post, described Wednesday “all the crimes that Hunter’s ridiculous plea bargain missed”.
