Madonna Rushed to Hospital After Being Found Unresponsive

The New York Post reported Wednesday that Madonna, the pop icon, was found unconscious at a home on Saturday. She was taken to the hospital and intubated in the intensive care unit.

Guy Oseary has been Madonna’s manager for many years. He posted on Instagram Wednesday that Madonna was hospitalized with a bacterial illness and spent several nights in the ICU. She is still hospitalized but no longer in ICU.

Oseary said that Madonna’s tour and other plans will be on hold for the time being.

Oseary told the fans of the legendary singer that “at this time we will have to pause all obligations, including the tour.” We will let you know as soon as more information is available, including the new date of the tour.

Madonna, a native of Bay City, MI has sold more albums – over 300 million – than any other female in music history.

The “Like A Virgin” singer was booked for 53 shows in North America and Europe. The tour was scheduled to begin in Vancouver, Canada on 15 July. Oseary did not say if all shows would be canceled.

Oseary added, “She’s still being treated.” “A full recovery is to be expected.”

Madonna, a 64-year-old mother of six, was scheduled to start the European leg of her tour in October and to return to North America almost two months later, on December 13, after completing it. The tour was scheduled to end on January 30, 2024.

In 1992, Madonna published a photo album called Sex that featured her sucking her toes and taking part in threesomes.

The book also featured stars such as Isabella Rossellini and Naomi Campbell. Vanilla Ice, who at the time was dating Madonna, appeared in it.

Madonna’s twins, Estere and Stella, both 10, recently “graduated from elementary school”.

Billboard Boxscore reports that Madonna grossed $1.376 billion in reported earnings and sold 11,7 million tickets over 575 concerts, making her the most successful female musical act of all time.

84 performances were scheduled for the “Celebration Tour”, which was to be held in approximately six months. This was her first tour after her Madame X Tour which ended in 2020.

When Madonna was hospitalized, she was said to have been “strenuously practicing” for her tour.

No new dates have been announced for the tour, but it is expected to continue.
