White House Counsel’s Response to Biden Shakedown Message Alters Goalposts Dramatically

Joe Biden’s White House Counsel responded to the now-infamous WhatsApp message which allegedly put the president in the same room as Hunter Biden was shaking down Chinese officials.

We previously reported that within 10 days after the exchange, Hunter Biden received $5.1 million, of which a portion was sent to James Biden (the president’s brother). Investigators in Congress are still trying to determine how far the money has gone.

The White House’s comms office refused to answer questions when pressed about the issue. The briefing room was a mess as journalists tagged teamed with Karine Jean-Pierre to ask if Biden had actually entered the room. The press secretary repeatedly referred reporters to the White House Counsel’s Office, whom she claimed had already answered their question.

What was the answer? This involves throwing the goalposts that surround Joe Biden’s previous statements about his son’s dealings off a cliff.

Joe Biden’s previous claims that he never discussed business deals with his son are a far cry from the “the President was not doing business with his Son” statement. This is also a very hesitant statement, which aims to give an excuse when the scandal grows.

Here’s a context of what President Trump said in 2020 when he was running against Donald Trump.

Biden: I have never discussed with my son or my brother or anyone else, anything having to do with their businesses, period.

Biden: I’ve never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.

It is not accidental that Joe Biden has suddenly stated that he was “not in business” with his own son. I believe this is a deliberate attempt to hide the true issue. No one ever accused him of “doing business” with his own son. The accusation is centered on whether the money from his corrupt son’s dealings was funneled to the current President. This is the entire situation, and congressional investigators are currently digging into it.

It’s hard to say for sure, but it seems that Biden lied to the FBI about knowing his son’s dealings in business. He and his lawyer are now trying a different standard to give themselves an excuse. Why would Biden use this phraseology when previous denials were more pointed?

When even the White House Press Corps stops covering the Biden family anymore, you can tell that things are getting worse. This is only the beginning. I have no idea where it will lead. Investigators have so much to unravel and discover. Republicans in Congress are determined to follow this case through. It’s another thing whether the DOJ leadership feels shamed and does their job. Don’t hold your breath.
