DeSantis Releases Video of Media Calling Him ‘More Dangerous’ Than Trump

Florida Governor Rick Scott is preparing for the Republican presidential election season of 2024. It’s clear that Ron DeSantis refuses to take part in a name-calling contest with former president Donald Trump. It’s also obvious that when DeSantis goes after Trump, he is generally successful — or at least he should be.

Later, we’ll talk about the “should be” part.

The DeSantis Campaign has released a 6-minute video in which a number of left-wing journalists describe the Florida Governor as “more dangerous” or “far more deadly” than the former President.

The video, entitled “6 MINUTES Of The Left Acknowledging They Fear DeSantis more Than Trump”, features comments from CNN political commentator Van Jones and “movement lawyer and political commentator Olayemi Olurin” as well as other left-wingers, who express their fear of a DeSantis nod over a Trump rerun.

Jones claims in the video that “this guy is worse than Trump”. Translation: This guy is a greater threat to the leftist agenda than Trump (in Jones’ estimation, that’s what I’m suggesting).

Frost adds: “If Donald Trump was bad, then you’re in for a surprise.”

Olurin went bottom-line:

I honestly believe DeSantis was forged in Hell. There’s no doubt in my mind. He’s honestly more sinister [than Trump], you know why? Because there’s less buffoonery to it.

“Forged in hell.” That right there was quite an honor for DeSantis, given the source.

Host of the left-wing talk show David Pakman, agreed.

Ron Desantis, a person who is not cartoonishly problematic and would likely carry on the Trump agenda, is an excellent example.

Former Republican Rep. David Jolly poses a provocative question with an ulterior motive.

What would he do in the White House if he had all the power he has in Florida?

The former Republican is not a big fan of Ron DeSantis, and he’s also not a huge fan of Casey DeSantis, the wife of the Governor. In early July, we reported that the former congressman had pathetically called Florida’s first lady “America’s Karen” while also saying that she was more effective than her spouse:

Casey DeSantis has become a very compelling figure on the political scene in Florida and nationally. She’s seen as the lighter side of Florida’s angry Governor. Others see her as America’s Karen. This is the biggest disconnect with a campaign that needs to reach out to more people to win the White House.

She is more effective than Ron DeSantis as a messenger, but if she amplifies the wrong message she actually clarifies Ron DeSantis’s weaknesses. This ideology, or DeSantis’ doctrine, as you may call it, is not one that resonates with voters.

As I like to say: It doesn’t really matter whether it’s in boots or heels, the DeSantis Doctrine is a losing doctrine. The more Casey DeSantis is out there, the more we’ll learn.

Did I mention the snarling ex-Republican who supports Joe Biden is a pinched-up Republican?

It’s the “Should be” part that’s tricky.

As the disclaimer on the top of every article and op/ed clearly states, I am entitled to my opinion.

There has never been a presidential race in which Republican voters looked beyond the primaries and voted for the candidate who had the best chance to kick out the Democrats from the White House and increase the GOP’s lead in the House and make a serious bid to gain the majority in Senate.

Why? There are many reasons, but one stands out: to avoid nominating someone who would cost Republicans votes in the year 2024 simply because the candidate is themselves.

In the 2016 election, “not-Hillary’ votes on the opposite side of the aisle helped propel Trump to victory. The Repubs have to cover all bases if they want to get rid of Joe Biden and Co.

Conclusion:

It is important that Republican voters listen to the voices of the left when they are voting.

Once again, my opinion. What do I really know?
