Joe Rogan: Trans Women Competing in Women’s Sports Is ‘Forced Compliance’

Joe Rogan believes that trans women should not be allowed to play in women’s sports.

In a recent episode of his “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast with special guest Ice Cube, the two discussed trans women, beginning with the Bud Light-trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney situation.

Rogan’s conversation soon shifted to transwomen participating in women’s sports, which Rogan believes is becoming “forced compliance” for everyone.

Rogan said, “You are forced to comply.” It’s ruining women’s sports in a big way. Some organizations push back on that and some people push back on the organizations who are pushing against it. This is to me insane. If you care about women in general, you should oppose that.

While many politicians have tried to pass laws protecting women’s sports it is still permitted. Ice Cube, the rapper and founder of Big3, made a hypothetical statement. He said that there was nothing to stop NBA star LeBron James, who is transgender, from playing in the WNBA after retiring from the NBA.

Rogan said, “They would not be able to stop it if just publicly declared, ‘I am a woman’.” What are they going to do? Then, they would have no choice but to give up.

“Just f—ing stop. There is a good reason why women’s and men’s sports are separate.

Many public figures, from Riley Gaines and Caitlynn Jenner, have expressed their opinions on the issue of women’s sports that only feature biological women due to the physical disadvantages present in all sports for transwomen or biological males.

Transwomen have won events at every level, from high-school track to professional cycling. Lia Thomas’s win in NCAA Swimming remains the key reason for the current debate.

Recently, President Biden proposed that Title IX protections be expanded to cover gender identity as well as sexual discrimination.

Several states have passed legislation that prohibits transgender athletes from competing in sports aligned with gender identity.

Twenty-two states have laws that prohibit transgender women from participating in sports for girls and women. Last month, Alabama banned biological men from competing in women’s sports at the college level.

“Look, if you are a biological male, you are not going to be competing in women’s and girls’ sports in Alabama. It’s about fairness, plain and simple,” Gov. Kay Ivey said in a statement at the time.
