This year will mark 22 years since the terrorist attacks struck our nation. Two planes crashed into the World Trade Center Towers, one into the Pentagon and another likely heading for the U.S. Capitol Building, or White House, crashed into a Pennsylvania field.
Since that day, the presidents have sought to commemorate the occasion with events in New York City, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or at the White House.
All but one. A report by The Hill states that Joe Biden is scheduled to be in Alaska for the 22nd-anniversary commemoration of the 9/11 terror attack to take part in the memorial ceremony. Joe Biden sent Kamala and her husband to a commemoration in New York City.
Many are baffled by the decision of Joe Biden to go to Alaska. While 9/11 was an American tragedy, many find it hard to understand why he chose Alaska. Joe Biden could not be farther away from New York City, Washington D.C., or Virginia, and still be within the United States unless he were in Hawaii. He didn’t want to visit Hawaii after his recent mishandling of the wildfires and the negative reception he received from the locals.
Biden’s lack of presence at any of the traditional three observation sites, or even in the White House, is surprising when you consider the amount of effort that goes into choreographing the moves of the president for public relations.
It’s possible that they are giving Kamala a chance to shine. But I don’t buy that. There have been long-standing reports that Biden did not want Harris to be his running mate. There’s no reason to think that Harris is being prepared to be the de facto Democratic Party nominee in the event of his dropping out.
My theory is it’s connected to his botched Afghan withdrawal, which was the most consequential moment in his presidency. Afghanistan sent his ratings down, and they’ve stayed there ever since.
Biden ignored the advice of his military advisors and lied about the situation on the ground because he wanted to have a victory photo-op for the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. As a result of Biden’s hubris, 13 American service members were killed in a terrorist attack at Kabul Airport, and the Taliban quickly took over the country, erasing all the progress we and our allies made in a twenty-year war.
Biden’s location on the 9/11 anniversary is not a coincidence. He is definitely hiding.
