Joe Biden shocked onlookers on Monday morning when he answered “No Comment” to several inquiries regarding the devastating Maui Fire. Hawaiian Island is battling deadly fires, and the death toll currently stands at 89.
One would think this would be an all-hands-on-deck affair, much like when a hurricane causes widespread devastation, but the president has been enjoying yet another vacation in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware. That followed two prior vacations that spanned multiple weeks in July and August (and Biden is scheduled to head to Lake Tahoe soon for a week as well).
Biden, while lying on a beach sunbathing, was asked by reporters if he would visit Maui. He replied “No comment”. As he entered an SUV for his departure, reporters asked him to comment on the general situation. He again replied “No comment”, this time smiling at the cameras, which was inappropriate given the subject.

The president smiles as he is asked to comment on the tragedy. Biden’s handlers noticed that the optics of this video were horrifying. The president’s official X page reacted quickly after the latest clip was posted.
As residents of Hawai’i mourn the loss of life and devastation taking place across their beautiful home, we mourn with them.
Like I’ve said, not only our prayers are with those impacted – but every asset we have will be available to them.

The rest of this thread is a rehash, and it’s only a rehash, of the response from the federal government. But given all the details, can anyone believe Biden actually wrote it? Just hours before, this is the same man who laughed at Maui’s questions and refused to speak to the media, not even to say, “We mourn the loss.” Then, suddenly, a thread expressing sympathy appears. Come on, I mean. We all know exactly who wrote it and why.
The Biden in the videos is the real Biden. He is the Biden with no sense of time and who doesn’t care about anyone except himself and his own political status. Imagine a scenario where George W. Bush said “No comment,” when asked about his visit to New Orleans following Katrina. Heck, I remember the time when George W. Bush’s younger brother finished reading a book to children to avoid scaring them after 9/11. The press spent eight long years accusing him of a lack of empathy.
No one in the media seems to give a damn about the fact that the president is aloof and a sociopath who vacations when there are national emergencies while teasing reporters even as people die. It’s funny how standards can change depending on the party that the president represents.
