Goldman Sachs Senior Analyst John Castic drowned, according to his father. He was discovered dead in a New York City Creek on Tuesday, weeks after the body of a nearby psychologist was found.

Jeffrey Castic told reporters that he had spoken to the city’s Medical Examiner, who currently holds the body of the 27-year-old.

The father stated, “The coroner has confirmed that he died by drowning.” At the moment, we are trying to focus our attention on the positive aspects of his life. He was a charismatic, bright, hardworking, and caring young man.

The results of the toxicology report are still pending, but Jeffrey Castic was told by police that his son had been impaired due to alcohol and/or drugs.

John Castic disappeared Saturday morning, after leaving the Brooklyn Mirage at 2:30 am.

A passerby saw his naked body floating around 11 am on Tuesday in Newtown Creek. This toxic waterway is located in an area with many warehouses and factories. He was carrying his wallet and phone.

A second man, Karl Clemente (27), a psychologist, also vanished after leaving the concert venue. He was found dead in the same creek on June 16. His father has said that he still awaits the results of the autopsy and toxicology report.

Jeffrey Castic stated that there are many questions unanswered about the death of his son. The video surveillance shows that the DePaul University graduate walked steadily along a sidewalk at 2:30 in the morning after leaving the event.

His phone registered his location at 3:51 a.m. at the Metropolitan Avenue Bridge, near where his body was found before it shut off. The bridge is an eight-minute walk from the Brooklyn Mirage.

His father stated that there is no explanation as to where he spent those 80 minutes, or why he wasn’t wearing a shirt at the time he found him.

He added, “We don’t really have any answers yet.”

Castic’s parents visited his apartment in East Village with roommates and found nothing wrong.

Sara Kostecka, a friend of Castic’s, said that Castic was from Chicago and had worked at Goldman Sachs for about a year. He was delighted to get the job.

His friends questioned his death and claimed he would never do something crazy.

Kostecka (25), said: “This wasn’t an accident.” “I believe there was foul play.”

David Solomon, CEO and Chairman of Goldman Sachs, released a press release on Wednesday. Solomon said: “We were all deeply saddened and shocked to hear of John’s tragic death.” John was a driven, dedicated member of our Controllers Team who worked closely with our Asset and Wealth Management Business.

NYPD stated that they are still investigating the deaths of Castic and Clemente. The Medical Examiner did not respond to requests for comments.
