There are many factors to consider when trying to determine who is the most notorious hacker at The Washington Post. Jennifer Rubin, who claimed to be a conservative but wrote some of history’s most slavishly pro-Democrat articles for years on end, was an obvious choice. Eugene Robinson is another race hustler, who blames every problem on racism.
Philip Bump has recently replaced those two at the top. Bump, a former reporter turned columnist has become Joe Biden’s leading apologist. He is the guy who writes articles on the left saying that there’s no evidence that the president had anything to do with his son’s dealings. Even if you do not know Bump, you know that guy.
Bump appeared on Noam Dworman’s podcast. Dworman asked him what he thought about a text message that became famous in which Hunter Biden complained, to his daughter as an adult, about having to pay half of his income to his father.
Bump walked off the set after he became agitated.
Bump: There’s no evidence Joe Biden received money from his son’s nefarious dealings.
Host: Here’s some evidence.
Bump: That doesn’t count, and now I’m leaving. pic.twitter.com/8khzpZ4snk

DWORMAN: What do you take from the text message to his adult daughter, Hunter’s text message, [saying] I have to give 50 percent of my income to pop?
BUMP: I have no idea what that means. I don’t. I have no idea what that means.
DWORMAN: Well, it’s…
BUMP: I know, it’s circumstantial evidence and you prefer that to direct evidence.
DWORMAN: But what could it be?
BUMP: I don’t know…(Cross talk)…I appreciate…(Cross talk)
DWORMAN: Has anybody asked her?
BUMP: I don’t know, I don’t know.
DWORMAN: Don’t you think somebody should ask her?
BUMP: Okay, I just said I don’t know and I don’t know what to make of it so I have nothing else to say about it. What do you want me to say?
DWORMAN: Yeah, but you say there’s no evidence, no evidence, but then there’s a text message where he says I give pop 50 percent of my money. That’s evidence.
BUMP: Okay, well what do you, okay Fine, it’s evidence, I appreciate you having me on.
DWORMAN: Something like that…who do you think, I look at that and I’m saying…
BUMP: I feel you want me to leave and just walk out in the middle of this because that way (inaudible)
DWORMAN: Is this the standard, really, this is the way The Washington Post handled people who disagree with them.
Bump could he expose himself more in this one-minute exchange than he already did? When he is presented with proof that Joe Biden received financial benefits as a result of his son’s business dealings, he replies that he has “no idea what that means.” I am not a genius but I think it means what it says. Hunter Biden funneled money to his dad. Bump acts dumb as if the cipher is a complex one that will never be cracked.
Then he tries to say that it is “circumstantial proof.” It’s still evidence. And is it when it’s an admission directly? It’s like calling a confession “circumstantial proof.” Dworman gets Bump to admit that there is evidence despite his writing articles claiming the opposite.
Dworman then asks Bump the simple question, to which any political observer would be able to answer: Should questions be asked regarding the text message? The Post columnist still insists that it’s not his place to know. This is both absurd and illuminating. It shows how shallow some of the mainstream media’s biggest names are. These people are not impressive. These are weak partisans, who hide behind their outlets’ reputations and never have to answer real questions.
Bump was so embarrassed that he went to social media and claimed Dworman had fabricated arguments in order to frame him. Bump removed his claim after a heated email exchange.

…mistaken.
I contacted him and gave him every chance to correct or guide my research. He ghosted me.
I’ve just sent him this: pic.twitter.com/lE3FlZ5ITJ

It’s possible I didn’t know about Dworman before this incident. He deserves credit for bringing up the matter with Bump, and proving that his bravado was not real. Joe Biden clearly benefited from the business dealings of his son, and to pretend that there is no proof of this is ridiculous.
