Was Rep. Jamie Raskin lying when he said that Donald Trump’s DOJ did not find the FD-1023 form accusing Joe Biden of bribery credible? The House Oversight Committee is making this claim after recent testimony contradicts Raskin.
Former U.S. Attorney Scott Brady confirmed, as part of the decision-making process, that there were enough signs of corruption for the case to be referred to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of Delaware.

Brady explained: “My understanding is that Mr. Raskin made public statements that, because my team and I found the 1023 allegations not credible or that other information was not credible, the assessment did not progress to a full or limited investigation.” “That’s false.”
Brady went on to discuss the difficult relationship that he had with the FBI. He accused them of being unwilling to do anything about the alleged corruption involving the Biden Family.
Brady described the FBI’s relationship with the FBI as “challenging” in testimony that Just the News reviewed earlier this week. “I believe there was a reluctance from the FBI to do any tasking relating to our assignment by DAG Rosen, and looking into allegations about Ukrainian corruption in general and then specifically everything that intersected Hunter Biden and the role he played in Burisma. It was very difficult.”
Brady also said that in his testimony, the FBI had never informed his office of Hunter Biden’s laptop or that they had verified its authenticity.
Brady was critical of the FBI. He noted that the bureau had never informed his office they had Hunter Biden’s laptop, and that it had confirmed its contents while DOJ prosecutors were investigating the Ukraine allegations.
“I thought there would have been something. Especially since it has been reported publicly, there is information about Hunter Biden’s activities as a board member of Burisma Ukraine. That might have helped us assess the information we received about him. “I would have expected to hear that,” he said.
Why didn’t the FBI share with the DOJ the fact that it received a laptop with credible evidence of criminal activities by Hunter Biden when it was in possession of this evidence? That’s a question FBI Dir. Christopher Wray will have to answer this question, but based on his past obstructionism in Congress, it’s more likely that pigs will grow wings and fly.
Someone should return to Raskin and ask him how he came up with his original claim. Who gave it to him? Was it the FBI or the Biden administration? Was it Biden’s administration? Raskin could not have made it up. It was too specific. The cover-up was already in full force when the FD-1023 report was sent to Congress.
This whole incident reminds me of Adam Schiff’s tenure on the Intel Committee where he spread many falsehoods about the Trump-Russia hoax. Schiff has claimed on more than one occasion that he had seen proof of collusion. He has not produced it until now. Raskin seems to be the next Democrat who will repeat falsehoods in order to get cable news attention.
