The Israeli military claims they don’t know the exact number of casualties, but when I speak to soldiers they tell me what they saw as they walked through the different homes and communities. They said that babies had their heads chopped off. Families were shot down completely in their beds. Right now, you can see these soldiers comforting one another.
The reporter continues to describe the ongoing house-to-house violence, where bodies are found every hour. The area is also strewn with booby traps, making it harder to recover the bodies of those who were murdered.
