According to several reports, the Biden Administration has held “secret talks” regarding the situation in Gaza. These secret talks included the possibility of deploying US troops into Gaza once Hamas was defeated.
Benjamin Netanyahu was told by the US that they would need a plan to govern the Strip once the terrorists were driven out. Israel has said repeatedly that it doesn’t want to occupy Gaza but also that Hamas cannot be allowed to run the enclave.
Bloomberg reported that a multinational force, which could include US troops, is being considered. One option would be to place the region under the control of the United Nations.
On Tuesday, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that there were multiple options being discussed.
Some US officials believe the options are premature or unlikely. Secretary of State Antony Blinken hinted at the challenge when he said to a Senate panel on Tuesday that the US is examining options for the future in Gaza.
Blinken told the Senate Appropriations Committee that “we can’t go back to the status quo” with Hamas in control of Gaza. Blinken will be traveling to Israel this Friday. “We can’t also have — and Israel starts with this proposition itself — Israel controlling or running Gaza.”
He said, “We’re looking very closely at the possible permutations between those shoals as well as other countries.”
According to the Daily Mail, after the bombing, the Biden Team denied that it had considered deploying U.S. soldiers there.
“Sending US troops to Gaza as part of a peacekeeping force is not something that’s being considered or is under discussion,” White House NSC spokesperson Adrienne Watson told Bloomberg.

NSC spokesperson Adrienne W. Watson told Bloomberg that they were not considering it.
Two senators confirmed that the idea of a multinational force is being considered.
“Talks are underway to establish a multinational force in Gaza after Israel uproots Hamas, two senators confirmed Wednesday, the clearest sign yet that the U.S. and its partners are seriously weighing deploying foreign troops to the enclave.”https://t.co/exHY0I9M0p

Biden is a typical Biden. He has always been wrong on foreign policy.
Another problem is the UN’s hatred of Israel. Peacekeepers would then be targeted and the U.S. would also almost certainly become a hostage or die.
It would make sense to establish a Gulf force in the nearby regions, but it is unclear if those people are willing to risk their lives in such a cauldron.
This is Biden’s team putting the cart before the horse. They haven’t even thought about how to free the hostages who are still in the country and the Americans that Hamas would not let leave. Why not focus on this first? The Biden team admitted that Hamas will not let Americans leave. How will they get them out?
