Joe Biden’s remarks about his meeting last night with Chinese leader Xi Jinping were interesting.
It is also noteworthy that he appeared to be unaware of the dangers posed by China. He said that he did not want to “decouple from China”. What was he discussing with Xi at the time? What did he say about the most pressing issues?
Biden, heavily slurring, lists the “concerns” he addressed with Xi Jinping.

Biden says he spoke to Xi on fentanyl, but he doesn’t mention China’s involvement in fentanyl crossing the southern border. He talks instead about people waking dead.
Biden says he discussed fentanyl with Xi Jinping, then goes off script: “I know two people near where I live — their kids, literally, they woke up dead.”

I don’t know why they allowed him to speak knowing he was going to make a gaffe. He went off script and said something that was true. Secretary of State Antony Blinken seemed to be apoplectic about it. Look at the facial expression and the hand-wringing.

You can almost hear the pleas in his mind for Biden not to talk.
Biden may call Xi a “dictator”, but he does not seem to grasp the dangers that China poses.
He told a rambling tale about Xi’s visit to America on Thursday, at the APEC Summit. Then he tells a buddy story about Xi.

Then, it was the comment made by Gavin Newsom about Xi that got everyone talking. And likely Biden’s campaign team flipped out. Biden thanked Newsom for the Summit, and called him a “one helluva governor.”

“He could be anything that he wants.” Biden said, “He could have the job that I am looking for.”
Yes, I am sure his campaign team did not want him to say that. It’s not a good thing to endorse someone who is running for the same position.
Was he just teasing what could be next? Biden’s campaign is still a mess because of his issues. Was he just letting the world know what was on the Democratic agenda? His judgment of Newsom, like so many of Biden’s statements and actions, is just plain wrong. Newsom’s policies are harmful to America and a disaster for California. He is the man who admitted to cleaning San Francisco’s streets for Xi, but not for regular residents.
Biden then got lost and confused again as he left the stage at the end. Joe is told to leave by the music, but he doesn’t know where he is going. How can this happen?

These are only the clips that are made public, God knows the mistakes he made with Xi privately.
