Bah, Humbug! Biden’s Christmas Tree Inflation Turns Holiday Cheer into Scrooge-Like Scrooge-ness

Let it Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow… Money. The Grinch is back in the White House, and inflation has driven up the cost of Christmas trees.

Since Joe Biden’s son, the Naughty List suspect and the president of the United States moved into the White House, inflation has made the holidays more difficult for American families. Biden’s inflation drove candy prices up 13% at Halloween. Inflation on Thanksgiving staples such as bread, cookies, and uncooked chicken was much higher than alleged inflation rates. It’s now Christmas trees.

According to the Western Journal, Fox Business, National Christmas Tree Association, and American Christmas Tree Association reported that the cost of Christmas trees has increased by 10 percent since 2022. Artificial trees have been more affected by inflation due to the higher production costs. This is a great reason to buy a real Christmas tree rather than a plastic artificial bush.

According to Jami Warner the American Christmas Tree Association’s executive director, “according to our survey 2023, 52 percent artificial Christmas tree owners bought their tree for less than $200 and 27 percent paid between $200 and $400.” Prices for artificial Christmas trees can vary depending on many factors, such as the size and retailer.

ACTA polling found that despite 78% of consumers being (understandably), concerned about inflation, 94% still plan to buy at least one tree this Christmas for their home.

Of these consumers, 77 percent confirmed that they would choose an artificial tree over a real tree…Christmas trees are just one of many products and services whose prices have increased dramatically since Joe Biden became president in January 2021.

According to a Heritage Foundation analysis published in October, the inflation rate is at its highest level in 40 years and shows no signs of easing.

Sleepy Joe’s administration saw inflation fall below the Federal Reserve’s target, but that is no longer true. Heritage explained that after a year-and-a-half of Biden’s reckless government spending and borrowing prices rose almost as fast in one month. Annual inflation reached 9.1%, 6.5 times what Biden left behind.

Warner was happy that Americans were still in the Christmas spirit despite the Man with the Bag (of cocaine) but suggested buying a Christmas tree early to avoid the rush.

I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas despite inflation. Don’t let the President’s Grinch brain that’s two sizes too small ruin your Christmas cheer.
