The U.S. Senate employee who recorded himself having sex in a meeting room of the Capitol Building with his boyfriend has been terminated. The news was announced in a press release by the office of Sen. Ben Cardin, the Democrat who employed the staffer.
The sage was first reported on Friday afternoon. The only information we had at the time was that the employee worked in Cardin’s Office. The staffer, Aidan Maese Czeropski was named shortly after. His video was also obtained and made public. I will not go into details about it, except to say that it was of the hardcore type.
Cardin’s announcement of Maese Czeropski’s dismissal could not have been more vague. The announcement was only two sentences long and ended with the proclamation that this issue would not be further discussed.

The cover-up has begun. It would seem that a senator whose staffer filmed hardcore gay porn on the Capitol Building would not be able to say “no comment” but since this is a Democrat, the usual rules do not apply.
As of the time this article was written, the story had been out for almost 24 hours and mainstream media has ignored it since. The Washington Post and The New York Times, two of the most prestigious publications, have not even mentioned the scandal. Politico mentioned it briefly in its morning news, but that’s all.
Imagine that we were discussing a Republican senatorial office. Think CNN, MSNBC or broadcast networks will report about what happened? They’d not only put it on the front page but also suggest that it was a conservative violation of family values.
It is absurd and hypocritical of the traditional media to suggest that this story is not worth covering. Maese Czeropski is being investigated by the United States Capitol Police for possible law violations, but he will likely be cleared on this front as well. A video has been circulating of a U.S. Senate employee having gay sex right in the room where hearings take place. It’s worth reporting and condemning.
