Antisemitism has reached a new level following Hamas terrorist attacks against Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. This is shocking. I didn’t know how common it is to hate Jews in modern culture. Since these attacks, I have seen several posts on social networks that are hateful and prejudicial, blaming Jews or Israel for virtually every evil in the world.
One example is a comment made by Mohammed el-Kurd. A pro-Palestinian, he was applauded loudly during a protest when he called to “normalize mass murders as the status quo”. He did this in a speech that condemned both the Jewish State and Zionism.
You read it correctly. Not a teenager but a grown man, who was not easily influenced, called on a group of people enraged by hatred of Jews to normalize the mass murder of them. The act was performed in public and not behind closed doors. El-Kurd wants to incite a riot to kill Jews on the street. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the degenerate nature of radical Islam. Child brides are a common occurrence, as is rape, racism, and murder. Do you think that sounds like a religion of peace to you?
The Daily Wire reported, “Though London Police have acted aggressively to combat so-called “hate speeches” that fall outside of the Left’s ideologies, the U.K. Metropolitan Police’s late response, which included a plan to “speak” to El-Kurd earned much criticism.”
In a weekend speech, el Kurd said: “We must normalize mass murders as the new status quo.”
The activist stated during the protest that “the atrocities committed by the Israeli regime in Gaza are among the most horrifying, brutal acts we have ever seen in our lifetime.” This genocide has a perpetrator. Zionism, apartheid, and genocide are the main causes of what is happening in Palestine. It’s a racist ideology, rooted in settler expansion and white supremacy. “We must eradicate it from the world.”
This is pure racism and hatred. They always talk about racism and equality, but they are constantly looking for examples to bring to light. They have a clear example, but instead, they add fuel to the fire. This is hypocrisy in its best form.
Suella Braverman is a conservative British member of parliament who responded to el Kurd’s remarks:
Over the last 99 days we’ve seen unprecedented levels of anti-semitism. Extremism & hatred normalised on our streets. And central London turned into a no-go zone for Jewish people about once a week.
The plan isn’t working if this is where we are now.👇

Douglas Murray also took issue with el-Kurd’s remarks and posted on X/Twitter, “This man said onstage in front of a cheering crowd in London yesterday: ‘We must normalize massacres as the status quo.’ How is this terrorist allowed to say this on the streets of London? Where are you [Metropolitan Police]?”
El-Kurd’s right to make such vile remarks on the streets in London is due to open borders throughout Europe, which has allowed for an influx of Middle Eastern migrants, including many radical Islamists. The migrants have settled in the UK and are refusing to assimilate into the culture. Sleeper cells, funded by terrorist groups such as Hamas, have no doubt set up shop in London or other major cities of the UK. Want to stop it? Stop letting Tom, Dick, and Harry enter your country.
The Metropolitan Police stated that they are “assessing” El-Kurd’s comments and will then speak with him.
In a statement issued on Sunday, officials stated that a video of comments made by one speaker at the protest yesterday in central London had been widely shared online. Officers are aware of these remarks, their commentary, and any subsequent statements made by the speaker. As part of their assessment, they will seek to speak with the individual in question. “We will update you in due time.”
Commenters on X pointed out that the police were in attendance during El-Kurd’s remarks but only appear to be taking action now. El-Kurd seemed to be unfazed when the Metropolitan Police Service posted about him.

The problem is that the incitement on London’s streets goes all around the world while you wonder what to do, @metpoliceuk https://t.co/TLhhTGlTvO

Some individuals have used social media to voice their opinions about the inconsistent application by the government of the speech laws:
People can be arrested for praying outside an abortion clinic while here you make it sound as if you will be telling him he’s a very naughty boy and should mind how he goes now.
Is it any wonder that some members of the Jewish community no longer feel safe in Central London?

El-Kurd, the day after making his controversial remarks, tried to soften them, claiming he had simply misspoken.
The activist retracted her statement. “It’s clear from my context on 13 January 2024, that I denounced massacres and murders. My closing was ‘We shouldn’t normalize massacres’.” “I also made a clear reference to the Israeli massacres against the Palestinians. I reject any attempts made in bad faith to portray me as someone who would promote or encourage unlawful violence. I don’t wish to waste any more time in this matter because we should all be focusing on Gaza and the horrors that are happening there.”
You can call me crazy but I don’t buy it. I believe he said exactly what he thought. His guard was thrown down by the emotional fervor of the moment. This allowed his true beliefs to come out.
What’s your takeaway?
Antisemitism has never been more popular or alive. Radical Islamic terrorists, who pose as activists, gain traction by speaking out about their hatred for those who don’t share their religion, ethnicity, or worldview.
