Joe Biden may be wondering how he got into his current situation, but he doesn’t seem to have the cognitive ability to comprehend how bad it is. The polls show that the general election will be tighter than expected, but other factors are at play.
The National Education Association, the largest teachers’ union in the country, has flashed a red light. The National Education Association (NEA), a far-left organization that has served as a lynchpin of Democratic politicians for years, is now urging Biden to show support for Palestinian terrorists or risk losing their endorsement.
The National Education Association has launched a campaign to demand that the president cease “sending military equipment, funding and intelligence to Israel.”
Members of the NEA teachers union want to revoke their endorsement of Joe Biden in the 2024 election until he secures a “permanent cease-fire” and stops “sending military funding, equipment, and intelligence to Israel.”

Rahaf Othman, 45, who is a social studies teacher at Harold L. Richards in Oak Lawn in Illinois, said that when Israel intensified its military operations in Gaza in October she was “so distraught” she “couldn’t think straight.” She recalled how she had “started having nightmares because of my own experiences in Palestine.” I barely functioned at work. My brain was a mush. “I was traumatized each time I turned on the phone.”
It’s morally wrong for someone who isn’t affected by the massacre of October 7th but becomes “traumatized”, when Israel fights back against a terrorist government. She was “unable to think straight” when she started having nightmares. Not because Hamas had been brutal and committed atrocities against Israelis and Palestinians for decades, but rather because Jews refused to accept being murdered. Gaza was a utopia in October 2006, and we didn’t even know it.
Biden cannot afford to lose this leg, even if that means fewer donations from these teacher’s union members. The NEA, the largest union in America, is a goldmine of donations for the Democratic Party.
I find the entire situation unbelievable. Biden’s ambiguous statements about Hamas are not new. He has even stated that he supports a Palestinian State despite the terrorists’ rampage. Even though he has bent the knee to terrorists and empowered them on many levels, he still doesn’t seem to be supportive enough of these bloodthirsty madmen. This shows how insane the extreme left is.
As the general election season approaches, things can change. Dark money groups of leftwingers will spend a lot more money to rally Biden’s support. Republicans should not get complacent with the relative calmness of the primary campaign. As it stands, however, the coalition of the president is crumbling. If the teachers’ unions are threatening to withdraw their endorsements, then he is on thin ice when it comes to his most loyal constituents. What’s the situation with independents like?
