Communist Rag’s ‘Palestine Correspondent’ Drops Ominous Hints

The Nation, which was founded soon after the Civil War is now more left-wing than Stalin. Mohammed El-Kurd is its “first-ever Palestine Correspondent,” and he has announced in a frightful glimpse of what the left may do to us that “we must normalize mass killings as the status quo.”

El-Kurd was in London this past Saturday at a rally for Palestinians. El-Kurd was at first defiant but soon began to get negative feedback.

El-Kurd’s tone changed when it became clear that he might be arrested by London’s Metropolitan Police. He said that what he said was “We cannot normalize the mass murders.” It was impossible to tell if he said this or if he meant to say it.

The subtitles of the video are contradictory since he says: “We shouldn’t accept massacres as the status quo. ”

After he said that, he paused and said, “Thank you.”

If he hadn’t been drunk or high, he would have noticed the mistake and corrected it. Most public speakers can tell you stories about saying things they didn’t mean and then correcting them immediately. Mohammed El Kurd let his fateful remarks linger.

It would have been incoherent for him to claim that he meant “We shouldn’t be complacent” and “We shouldn’t normalize massacres.” What is complacent, exactly? He would be better off urging his audience to not be complacent and normalize mass murders.

El-Kurd has a history of violent speeches, which makes it more likely that he said what he meant to say. According to The Washington Free Beacon, El-Kurd supported Palestinian violence against Israelis during the Edward Said Memorial lecture at Princeton University in 2011. “What would you say if an occupying force beats your family in the backyard?” he asked. El-Kurd dismissed Hamas atrocities following the jihadi massacre on Oct. 7, Israel, as “a reaction to weeks, months, and years of Israeli military incursions” in Palestinian towns.

It’s also possible that thousands of people, despite El-Kurd’s true intentions, were at the London rally, when he declared, “We must normalize massacres.” Many nodded in agreement, given the growing bloodlust among jihadi and leftist supporters.

Mohammed El-Kurd, without meaning to, gave us a glimpse into the dystopia that leftists envision.
