Cindy Adams, a New York Post contributor, warned that Americans should not be surprised if Michelle Obama “sneaks” her way into the race for 2024.
Michelle is the Democratic candidate for president. Adams wrote: “Benjamin the orchestra leader is the one who makes the music.” The Obamas are nudging SloMo Joe out. Drop out. “Who else is there?”
Adams said that President Biden will not debate and that the Obama drumbeat has become “louder.”
“A Joe flop-out offers a chance for Michelle to get in. Obama is negotiating with the government to achieve that,” she said.
Adams cited Michelle Obama’s recent media appearance.
During an interview with Jay Shetty on his “On Purpose Podcast”, the former first lady revealed that she is “terrified Donald Trump could win in 2024.”
“Those things keep me up because you can’t control them.” You wonder where we are in all of this. Where are our hearts? What will happen at the next election?” Obama asked. I am afraid of what could happen because our leaders are important. We are affected by who we choose, who speaks on our behalf, and who has the bully pulpit.
Biden’s polling numbers have also been a source of concern for former President Obama.
The Wall Street Journal reported that in December, Obama was among those on the left who feared a Trump presidency.
The report said that Obama “knows it’s going to be close” and “feels the Democrats could very well lose,” noting that the information was provided by a “familiar person with [Obama] thinking.”
According to reports, the former president is also concerned that Biden’s alternative on the Republican side could be “pretty harmful for democracy.”
The Washington Post reported that President Obama expressed concerns over the structure of Biden’s election campaign and became “animated”, during a conversation about the election, with Biden.
The outlet reported that “Obama raised questions about President Biden’s structure for his re-election, talking directly to Biden and telling Biden’s allies and aides the campaign should be empowered to take decisions without consulting the White House.”
