Sara Huckabee Sanders Drops Bombshell Commentary on Donald Trump’s Vice Presidential Selection

Many believe that former president Donald Trump is destined to be the GOP’s nominee after he won the Iowa caucuses with a huge margin. The speculation over who he will choose as his vice president is at an all-time high.

Vivek Ramaswamy is one obvious choice. He dropped out of the race after Iowa and immediately backed Trump. Some think Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., who also backed former commander-in-chief Trump. Scott is from the same state that Trump’s last competitor left in the race Nikki Haley.

Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders, R-Ark. In an interview with CBS’ “Face the Nation”, Trump’s former Press Secretary was asked if she would consider the position and if it was possible that she could be included on the list of VP candidates.

It didn’t feel like an interview, but more like an interrogation. This proves once again that mainstream media is against anyone who supports conservative values. In the worldview of leftists, tolerance is only one way.

Margaret Brennan, the host of the show, asked Sanders a series of questions about abortion and other hot-button conservative issues. Sanders was honest and stayed true to her beliefs throughout the interview.

Some people, particularly those in positions of high power, compromise their conservative values. They put their ambitions and the desire to keep their job above doing what’s best for their country. Sanders is fortunate to not be in this situation, as she has a bright future ahead.

Brennan asked her at the end of the conversation if she would be Trump’s choice for vice president if he won the GOP nomination.

“I believe this election is simple. This is a clear contrast. Sanders said, “You have two people who are running on a record of four years.”

She continued:

Donald Trump has an impressive record of success, but he does so from a strong position. Joe Biden is in a weaker position. Donald Trump wins on every issue that matters to voters. Whether it is the economy, national security, or taking a tough line against China.

They both have a record to work from. I am confident that Donald Trump will be declared the winner of this matchup because of their contrast.

Brennan did not expect that answer. She brought up the former Arkansas governor. Sanders asked Asa Hutchinson if Trump could unite the country, referring to his support for Haley. Sanders’ response is perfect.

She replied: “It is hard to argue with the fact that having a strong economy, a safe and secure border, and taking a firm stance against China are all things that empower and unite our country.”

Brennan then shifted the conversation to the vice presidency.

Sanders responded, “I love my job.” “It’s the best job I could have ever asked for,” Sanders replied. “I am proud to be governor and I hope to continue to serve for seven more years.”

Brennan responded by saying “Next seven years.” Okay. It sounds like a two-term phrase — perhaps a no.

Brennan is a tough man to beat. That’s as sharp as a tack. Sanders may believe that the best thing she can do to serve the country is to focus her efforts on improving the state in which she lives and loves. The federal government would be less able to ignore the 10th Amendment if more people focused on local politics.
