Joe Biden is known for his constant misinformation or outright lies about the economy.
I don’t believe the American people will buy it. His approval rating on the economy has always been his lowest in polls. It’s either that or the number who believe he is mentally capable. These tend to be low on almost every poll.
His most common claim is that he has created “15,000,000 brand new jobs.” This is absurd, the number is so high because people are returning to the economy after being shut down. Not “new jobs.” This has nothing to do with Joe Biden or any other “creation.”
He repeated that claim at an event in Las Vegas with “MGM Resorts Management and Culinary Leaders”. A very small group, around 30 people visible on camera were gathered just around him and didn’t seem too excited. He was standing next to the group and speaking into a microphone. Bizarre. He added another outrageous comment in that environment that they knew was nonsense.
Biden says he’s “created almost 15 million brand new jobs.” Wrong, those are mostly jobs recovered after COVID, with Republican-led states leading.
He then claims paychecks for Hispanic and African American workers are up 40% and 50%. In reality, inflation has wiped out wages. pic.twitter.com/tVBJsiuuss

Biden claims that Hispanics and African Americans make 40-50 percent more than they do under him. Of course, this claim is false because there’s no evidence to back it up. He seems to be saying that this is true for everyone. Bidenflation has largely erased the gains in wages that occurred during his tenure as president. But 40 to 50%? Does he really think that people will accept such statements? I thought the people were polite as he went through his routine.
Biden continued to repeat that inflation is still higher than when he first took office, despite the fact that he and his team initially claimed it would be transitory.
Joe Biden talks about inflation, but fails to mention that costs are up 17.3% on his watch and that the inflation rate is more than double what it was when he took office. pic.twitter.com/f0X8Fac5Cm

Biden said that we have the best economy on the planet. It’s not true about inflation. There are countries in Europe (such as France, Italy and Switzerland) with lower rates of inflation than ours. The inflation rate is still higher than it was before he took office and food prices continue to rise.
Biden argued that greedy corporations are the ones we should be worried about. He then told the story of Snickers’ “shrinkflation”. I’m not certain what he is trying to prove by telling a 2022 story. The problem is that it doesn’t prove his point. It also points back at him.
He says the bar is smaller, but it didn’t cost any more. You can’t really use that as an example of “inflation.” Second, and most importantly, there is no mystery to the cause of the “shinkflation.” It all goes back to Joe Biden. Why is it shrinking? When you see “prices for raw materials and ingredients at levels they haven’t seen since decades” — this is why it shrinks. You have to either increase the price to keep up with the market or shrink the product.
He complained about it in South Carolina, last week. It was as though he threatened Mars over the shrinkage of bars.

Why not stop the spending that caused inflation, rather than go after random companies and act fascistically? His first thought was control, as it is for Democrats in general.
