The Walt Disney Company, or House of Mouse as it is also known, has had a tough couple of years. The Walt Disney Company has produced bomb after disaster at the box office and on their streaming service. This is largely due to the decision of the corporation to go all-out in the woke department. The board of directors and shareholders regret this decision.

They may regret the decision made in 2021 by the producers of “The Mandalorian”, a hit TV series that is part of the “Star Wars franchise,” to terminate actress Gina Carano, a former mixed martial arts professional.

Variety reports that Carano has filed a lawsuit against Disney and Lucasfilm after they removed her from the popular show. The decision was made because the company did not agree with a social media post made by Carano. Carano posted a meme comparing how Nazis persuaded people to hate Jews because they were Jewish with how the left persuaded people to hate other people for their personal political views.

Disney doesn’t seem to be a fan of freedom. This is ironic, because it is this right that allows them to create the woke content on a daily basis. Maybe they believe they have a right to this freedom and that anyone who doesn’t agree with their progressive agenda isn’t?

More from the Report:

The lawsuit, filed in California Federal Court, alleges wrongful dismissal and discrimination as well as demanding that the court force Lucasfilm to replace her.

Elon Musk has funded the lawsuit, after promising to pay for legal action taken by people who claim discrimination based on posts made to Twitter/X. The posts in question were originally posted on Carano’s Instagram Stories.

Joe Benarroch (head of business operations for X) said in a press release that “as a symbol of X Corp.’s commitment to freedom of speech, we are proud to provide financial assistance to Gina Carano’s lawsuit. This will enable her to pursue vindication of her rights to free speech on X as well as her ability to work free from bullying, harassment or discrimination.”

Carano was fired from “The Mandalorian” by fans who were disappointed. They enjoyed her performance as Cara Dune in the first two seasons, when she played a soldier for the Rebel Alliance who later became a mercenary.

Carano was slammed by radical leftists almost immediately after posting this meme, which contains more than just a tiny bit of truth. They love to use any excuse possible to justify their vicious attacks against conservatives. It is not acceptable to make statements like Carano’s, in which he calls conservatives to account for their behavior.

Lucasfilm, Carano’s agent at the time and UTA dropped her the same day. UTA is not listed as a defendant, but it’s still a part of the lawsuit.

Carano, in her lawsuit which contains several elaborate “Star Wars”, references, claims that Disney and Lucasfilm made it “clear that only one way of thinking, speaking, or acting was acceptable within their empire and that anyone who dared question this or did not fully comply with the rules would be punished.”

Carano brings up a great point when she mentions social media posts made by other stars from the “Star Wars Universe”. Male actors such as Pedro Pascal and Mark Hamill made posts in which they compared then-President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, and his supporters with Nazis. Carano says that Disney did not punish them for their political statements.

It’s time for outspoken celebrities with a right-leaning to take a stand. They must stop letting Hollywood’s bigwigs get away with persecuting those who do not share their progressive worldview. We hope Gina Carano succeeds in her effort to hold Disney responsible for their blatant racism.
