Biden Promotes Staffers Previously Blamed for Classified Document Mishandling

After the Hur report was released, Joe Biden thought it would be a good idea to address the nation, and decided to throw a fit. He was up way past his bedtime, was not thinking clearly, and the whole thing went wrong. He made some serious mistakes and blamed his staff for his possession of classified docs.

I accept responsibility for not knowing what my staff would do! He claimed.

Of course, it didn’t make sense. He had classified documents he obtained during his tenure in the U.S. Senate. As the only person who could have removed these documents from the SCIF (sensitive compartmented data facility), he was the most likely guilty. In an attempt to absolve himself of mishandling classified documents, he blamed his staff.

Normal circumstances suggest that Biden’s staff should be held accountable for mishandling classified information, a federal crime. Biden accuses his staff of mishandling classified documents, but no one is held responsible.

It’s worse. He promoted them within one day of the release of Hur’s Report.

The New York Post reports, “Top aides of President Biden who were involved in his mishandling classified documents received plum promotions within 24 hours of the release of Robert Hur Report.” “Annie Tomasini was a Biden employee since his Senate days and she was promoted to deputy White House Chief of Staff on February 8.” Richard Ruffner took over Tomasini’s former job as director of Oval Office Operations the following day.

Jim Hanson is the president of Worldstrat a strategic consultancy company. He said: “I do not think anyone should be shocked that the Biden Administration promotes people to help them cover up Joe’s misuse of classified information.”

Tomasini, 44, began her career with Biden as his press secretary in 2008 when he was a U.S. senator from Delaware and worked as a deputy press secretary for him from 2009 to 2010 as vice president

She served as her traveling chief of his staff on the 2020 campaign trail and then joined the White House administration as the director of Oval Office Operations when he moved there. Caroline Biden, Biden’s niece, reported to Tomasini when her uncle’s 2008 failed presidential campaign.

Tomasini, a member of the House Oversight Committee in November 2023 was cited for visiting the Penn Biden Center on March 20, 2021 “to inventory President Biden’s materials and documents”. In November 2022, classified documents were found at the facility.

The fact that the White House is blocking Tomasini’s interview with the House Oversight Committee should not be surprising.

The Post reported that House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., said: “The Department of Justice failed to hold President Biden accountable for his mishandling of classified information and now Biden aides were involved in the scandal get promotions.”

Richard Ruffner began his career in 2014 as Jill Biden’s special assistant. He then transitioned into a role working with Vice President Biden during the last months of his tenure. Ruffner served as the personal assistant to the former vice president for almost three years, before moving to Boston Consulting Group in the summer of 2020. In February, he rejoined Team Biden as deputy assistant to the President and director of Oval Office Operations. Tomasini had previously held this position.

The connection between Ruffner’s involvement in transporting classified materials to another D.C. location from a General Services Administration office was revealed in testimony by Biden’s aide Kathy Chung to the House Oversight Committee.
