Biden’s State of the Union: Historic Levels of Anger and Unhinged Rhetoric

Joe Biden’s 20-minute late arrival for Thursday’s State of the Union was not surprising. It became obvious that Joe Biden should not have even shown up.

Biden’s drug team may have messed up the dosage, as he spent the first 30 minutes of his speech screaming uncontrollably and coughing, slurring, and occasionally stumbling over his words. The State of the Union speech was the most agitated and unhinged in history. No doubt, there will be headlines that say otherwise,  but they will be false.

The president’s senility was also evident in many instances. Biden brought up January 6th at the beginning of the speech and then completely flunked two of his biggest zingers.

The president then yelled at the Supreme Court in the most mentally deficient manner possible that “women do not lack electrical power.”

Why would the Supreme Court have to acknowledge that women do not lack electoral power, despite Biden’s inability to read a Teleprompter? They’re not politicians and they’re not there to make policy. They interpret the Constitution in its current form. Biden’s misinformation about the court is dangerous. He’s putting people in danger so that he can impress his radical base. He’s incapable of doing it coherently.

Other moments in the speech were also a bit confusing, like this random mention of Moscow. He had Russia in his mind, so it’s hard to figure out what he meant.

I could post videos of Biden giving his speech, but it was awful. He came across as a divisive lunatic who delivered a poorly written stump speech and not as a serious president speaking to Congress and the American public about important issues.

Biden’s performance failed to change his prospects for 2024. He said nothing that would appeal to the average swing voter. In the first part, he talked about Ukraine and compared Donald Trump with Hitler. This was an out-of-touch display that showed the White House’s arrogance towards voters.

This State of the Union did not change the game. While his most ardent supporters were fist-pumping, I would suspect that most Americans were rolling their eyeballs. The fact that he shouted at the most bizarre moments made the whole scene even more bizarre.

The President has failed. Biden also failed to achieve the stated goal of his speech, which was to distract from their failures. The mainstream media will swoon, because they always would swoon. They had already written their reactions before he said a word. But you can’t fool them, nor can you shout them down while in a drug-induced fog.

Biden’s State of the Union was not a positive kind of history.
