Planet Fitness Loses $400M in Value Amid Transgender Controversy

“Our policy on gender identity non-discrimination allows members and guests to use the gym facilities that align with their self-reported gender identity. However, the member who posted on social media violated our mobile device policy, which prohibits taking photos of individuals in the locker room. As a result, their membership has been terminated.”

Conservatives on X continue to criticize the chain despite the uproar caused by the incident.

Elon Musk weighed in on the debate, responding to a TikTok posting by Libs who claimed that the chain didn’t care about women’s safety, saying “Planet Fitness appears like a creepy place.”
