Joe Biden’s team is being exposed for their hypocrisy and prior statements regarding the campaign spending.
A new report by Axios claims that they have been criticizing former president Donald Trump over his use of campaign donations to pay legal fees. However, this fact has been left out.
Axios cites two “familiar” sources who claim that Joe Biden used his campaign donations to pay for legal fees during the special prosecutor’s investigation. Do you mean that they are doing the same thing as Trump? Where else have we heard it before?
Why it matters: These payments were made via the Democratic National Committee and are in contrast to the recent attacks by the Biden campaign on Donald Trump’s campaign for using his funds on legal expenses.
Driving the news: According to financial reports filed by the DNC, which is the organization that has collected the largest donations for Biden’s reelection campaign, the DNC paid out more than $ 1.5 million to attorneys or firms who represented Biden in the investigation.
Axios reports that the “DNC declined” to reveal how much it spent on legal services related to Hur’s investigation.
Axios has also highlighted some of the problematic remarks made by both the DNC and the campaign:
The RNC responded. The RNC called out Biden’s team for its prior statements against Trump and for statements that conflicted with the report. They also called on the DNC chief, Jaime Harrison to explain.
Why did we need to learn that from the media? Why don’t the Democrats want to admit this? Axios deserves credit for its real journalism.
Isn’t it the standard Democrat response, to attack the very thing that they do? Only Republicans can be considered bad for doing this. It’s fine if Democrats do it. In the classified documents case, we saw that despite his having classified documents in his home, some of which had his handwritten notes, it wasn’t worth prosecuting him because he was “poorly remembered.” It’s cool. It’s unbelievable how they handled that case in comparison to the case against Trump.
