The State Attorney General is gathering evidence that Planned Parenthood – the abortion giant – is helping “transgender” children to transition without parental permission.
Missouri AG Andrew Bailey received a court order from St. Louis City Circuit Court forcing Planned Parenthood- a Republican Attorney General – to provide documentation regarding so-called “gender change” for minors. Bailey pledged to “get the bottom” out of the way a clandestine clinic network subjected minors without parental consent to irreversible surgeries and puberty-blocking medications.
LifeNews reported on April 17 that abortion giant Bailey, and his office, continued their legal battle. Bailey invoked the Missouri Merchandising Practices Act which allows investigations into a product or service that “Presents a substantial risk to consumers or causes significant injury to them.” Planned Parenthood, however, claimed that it could not release the requested documents because of the Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act.
LifeNews published a report on what it called an “unbroken string of legal victories” over transgender institutions. This included two Planned Parenthood-affiliated hospitals. Bailey did not receive the information that he was seeking from any hospital other than Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
Bailey spoke about the case in “Washington Watch With Tony Perkins”, aired on April 16th. She said: “We believe Biden’s Administration intervened, and asked these agencies to use HIPAA so they wouldn’t have to hand over records. ”
The AG said, “What’s most disturbing is that initially, some clinics agreed to give us the records we had requested. Planned Parenthood was not the only clinic involved. After communicating with federal agents, they suddenly changed course. Biden’s administration could be involved.”
Bailey mentioned possible medical corruption and incompetence. Bailey said that other clinics in Missouri had a bad record in informing parents about the risks and consequences of prescribing powerful and life-altering hormones for puberty and cross-sex treatments when the FDA hadn’t approved their use to treat gender dysphoria.
Jamie Reed, a whistleblower and Bernie Sanders supporter who calls herself a left-wing lesbian, revealed that the Washington University Pediatric Transgender Center ignored mental and emotional conditions to speed minors through medical pipelines. These included autism, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. The children also had eating disorders and OCD.
The SAFE Act was passed by Missouri legislators to protect children from transgender surgeries and “treatments”. Recent research confirms that the majority of children who are confused by their gender will be able to grow out of this confusion as adults.
The AG stated that no assessments were made to determine whether the children would have been better served with more traditional mental health services. The negative effects of these drugs were not monitored.
Planned Parenthood has a consistent attitude toward the termination of human life and the disregard for the life and bodily integrity of children. Planned Parenthood consistently places the desire to end life and the well-being of patients before their health and well-being.
