Biden-Harris Campaign’s Appalling Response to Trump’s Conviction Leaves Nation Stunned

Biden-Harris released a press release after the jury’s verdict was announced in Donald Trump’s Manhattan criminal trial. The statement is tone-deaf and completely inane, given that Joe Biden’s son faces federal criminal charges under two jurisdictions. He will be on trial next Monday.

The text reads:

“In New York, today we saw that nobody is above the law.”

“Donald Trump always believed, in error, that he wouldn’t face any consequences for breaking the laws for his personal gain. The verdict of today does not change that Americans face a simple truth. The only way to stop Donald Trump from occupying the Oval Office is by voting.” Trump, whether a convicted felon or not will be the Republican candidate for president.

“The threat Trump poses to democracy is greater than ever. He’s running a campaign of revenge, retribution and unhingedness. He’s pledging that he’ll be a dictator ‘on day one’ and wants our Constitution to be ‘terminated’ so he can keep and regain power. A second Trump term will bring chaos, strip away Americans’ liberties and incite political violence. The American people will reject this in November.”

Chaos is the result of a second Trump term? We’re going to have more chaos? Chaos was not experienced in the first three months of Trump’s administration. Only sham impeachment proceedings by Democrats caused the “chaos” of 2017 to early 2020. These hearings were a prelude to Trump’s institutionalized lawfare since Democrats knew that he would be the GOP nominee in 2024.

Joe Biden is a very brave man to claim that Donald Trump “has always believed that he wouldn’t face consequences for breaking law for his personal gain”, given the indictment of Hunter Biden, and the testimony from the IRS whistleblowers last year when they stated that they were not allowed pursue any leads which could reveal evidence that Joe Biden had committed a criminal offense.

The White House had planned to have President Biden deliver remarks after the verdict, but he has now postponed them.
