Joe Biden’s foreign policy is a joke.
One of his recent moves that was questioned is the decision to build a pier just off the Gaza coast to facilitate aid for the war-torn people.
The problem is, it has to go through Hamas. This issue needs to be resolved if this aid program is to continue. And the pier won’t fix that. It also places U.S. troops on the ground, despite denials from the Biden administration.
The pier was subjected to a mortar barrage. In a non-combat accident, three service members were injured. One was critically injured. Last week, a Pentagon spokesperson told us that the aid intended for Gaza had not reached its recipients. On top of that, weather problems, damage to the pier, and ships running aground meant they had to “put boots on the ground” the most humiliating manner possible. Let’s not forget the aid that Hamas is stealing.
The drama continues. John Hasson, Townhall’s John Hasson summarizes the drama as pier operations have been suspended after “a piece breaks off.”
The 12-day life of Biden’s $320 million pier:
May 17: “Aid flows into Gaza over massive U.S. pier”
May 21: “None of the aid from U.S. pier has been delivered”
May 25: Pier damaged but “still functional”

Should’ve added this for May 22! https://t.co/aPkNH6X6Z7

The pier will also be removed to fix it.
Sabrina Singh, a Pentagon spokesperson, told reporters that the pier would be removed in the next two day and then sent to Ashdod in southern Israel, where the U.S. Central Command would repair it. Sabrina Singh, a Pentagon spokeswoman, said that the repairs would take “at least ten days” before the pier could be returned to the beach of Gaza.

Biden’s failure is costly and embarrassing. Sinking and under water is the perfect metaphor to describe his entire approach. How’s “Build Back Better?” going?
So I have a question. What will stop the same thing happening again if they put it back in? This would have been predictable if they had spent any time thinking about the issue.
How is this plan a good one to involve the U.S. in Michigan because Joe Biden is trying to get their votes? It’s the entire idea that is the problem — a wasteful use of money to aid Joe Biden in his political career.
The Biden team will continue to learn nothing.
