Chelsea Handler’s Lightning-Quick Reversal: Exposing Her Own Argument Against Harrison Butker in Just Ten Seconds

The Usual Suspects made many dumb arguments after Harrison Butker’s commencement address, such as the one that was published in the Kansas City Star, which suggested Butker should be replaced with a female kicker who is less talented to “make an impact.”

Change.org also created a petition in response to the Benedictine College speech on May 11, which demanded his dismissal and claimed without evidence that Butker’s remarks were “sexist, homophobic and anti-trans” and “anti-abortion, racist and dehumanizing.”

Butker’s Catholic-themed speech in which he praised the graduates’ “amazing achievements” and paid homage to mothers was not enough for feminists who reacted with knee-jerk reactions, such as purported comedian Chelsea Handler. She called Butker “misogynistic… a Bible-thumper,” because originality is not something that woke leftists value.

Handler then addressed Butler’s spouse Isabelle. Butker had described her in his commencement speech as a “beautiful mother and wife”.

Handler jokingly said, “Isabelle please blink twice when you need help from us.”

She continued, “But the real shocker is that Harrison Butker’s mother is a world-renowned physicist with a degree and master’s in Medical Physics.” “So, who paid all the fees for Harrison’s youth sports team and uniforms and equipment when he was a child so that we could have a successful career earning millions of dollars by f***ing kick things? I’d guess a woman who works. Harrison, I hope this is my last time hearing about you. After this, I will do as your teammate does and pretend that you don’t even exist.”

Elizabeth Butker, Butker’s mother, is a woman of accomplishment, and he has praised her for being “his biggest supporter” as well as “guiding me in becoming the man I was meant to be.” He is aware of the sacrifices that she made for him. This is evident in his words about her.

Where is the contradiction between what he said in his commencement address and her having a job?

Answer: No. Handler debunked herself in record time, without realizing it.

Butker did not make any remarks that would belittle or denigrate women who choose to pursue a career as their first step after graduating from college. When he spoke about his wife Isabelle, Butker acknowledged that, for some women, it is a sacrifice not to pursue a career after college. However, it’s one that many women make without regret.

Isabelle may not have achieved her dream of a career, but today, if asked if she regrets her decision, she’d laugh loudly and without hesitation. “Heck no!”

I find it amazing how many things he has said have been misinterpreted. Handler, who has been on an unrelenting mission to show people that women of middle age don’t need to be married and have children in order to live happy and fulfilled lives, is not surprised to have such a view.

It’s her decision, and it’s okay. In trying to prove her point, she might, I don’t know, come across less bitter and miserable, and show some grace towards other families who made different decisions.
