Zach Bryan, a country music singer from Texas, and his girlfriend Brianna laPaglia prepared for their deaths after a “traumatizing car accident” late last week.
LaPaglia is a podcaster who has a large following on TikTok. She shared a video Tuesday that recounted the accident.
“Zach and I were involved in a side-by-side crash two nights ago. It flipped several times. Everything shattered and thank God our seatbelts were on,” she said in a video.
She said, “There was blood everywhere, and I thought we were saying goodbye.” After the ambulance arrived and he was stitched, we thought, “Oh my god, thank God.” Didn’t strike an artery. It was just an enormous gash.
“We are alive and happy.”
LaPaglia stressed the importance of wearing your seat belt in a separate video.
She said, “I’ll be that annoying person. I’ll spend the rest of my life telling people to wear their seat belts. I’ve been wearing seat belts for years because my parents made me. In high school, I witnessed a friend of mine who was not wearing a seatbelt die.”
“But I never told anyone to put their seat belts on. Wear your seat belt. I thought people would do whatever they wanted to. Not anymore.

“I will be the annoying idiot friend who says, “Put on your seatbelt or you’ll not move.”
If we didn’t wear our seatbelts, we could be decapitated – broken necks or dead.
Bryan hasn’t directly commented on the accident but he shared his gratitude for LaPaglia in an Instagram story.
This lady is a weight to everyone around her, day in and out. “Through these month-long tour runs to my degenerate a$$ making an album,” wrote he. You’re my muse Brianna, and I can’t believe you keep it together while everyone around you is unable to. “Thank you for everything and forever.”
He shared with him a few thoughtful texts LaPaglia sent to him, which highlighted her support.
Bryan’s representative did not respond to our comment request immediately. He is on tour and lives on his tour bus along with LaPaglia.
