New York Gov. Kathy Hochul claimed on Monday that Black children in the Bronx do not know what a PC is. This claim was questioned and racist.

Hochul, in a speech at a California forum, went full Bull Connor, claiming “Right Now, we have young Black kids who are growing up in the Bronx, and they don’t even understand what the word ‘computer is'” or that “They do not know these things.” “And I want to open the world up to them all.”

Hochul’s absurd comments were widely shared on social media, especially on X where users vilified her. Riley Gaines, a former collegiate swimmer, chimed in and noted “just how out-of-touch the people who are supposedly leading this nation are.”

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, (R-FL), also attacked the governor.

Other users have also criticized Hochul.

My favorite response was from a user, who said that people like Hochul have “never been around blacks.”

This post is perfect. White progressives, like Hochul, tend to distance themselves from Black people while pretending to be our champions from their ivory towers. It’s unlikely that Democrats who claim to care about racism will call Hochul out on her racist behavior.
