Harrison Butker, the Kansas City Chiefs kicker who is Catholic, delivered the commencement speech at Benedictine College on Saturday. He criticized Joe Biden’s claim that you could be both Catholic and pro-abortion at the same time.

Butker, a pro-lifer, spoke to the Catholic school graduates in the audience about the prevalence of woke culture, the push for mainstreaming radical LGBTQ views, and the de-emphasis of masculinity. Butker told the women that he knew they would succeed in their careers, but he also bet many of them looked forward to becoming wives and mothers.

The leftist Outrage mob is in full swing, and has started a petition on Change.org to fire Butker after he shared the allegedly “dehumanizing Catholic message” with Catholic students attending a Catholic College:

It has approximately 103,000 signatures as of this writing.

The NFL, however, has already responded to the controversy – distancing itself from the Chiefs organization and virtue signaling how inclusive it is allegedly:

Harrison Butker made a personal speech. The NFL does not endorse his views. Jonathan Beane said that the NFL was steadfast about its commitment to inclusion. This makes our league stronger.

The worst part of the reaction to Butker’s speech was the way the official Kansas City Twitter account responded… by posting where the kicker allegedly lives with his family. Although the tweet was deleted, it is still available on the Internet.

The city’s mayor, Quinton Lucas, noted afterward that the “message was clearly inappropriate for a public account. The City has correctly apologized for the error, will review account access, and ensure nothing like it is shared in the future from public channels.”

This response was a timely but sobering reminder of the priorities some people in this country have (language warning).

Enough said
