An Indonesian Boeing aircraft caught fire during take-off and forced an emergency landing.
The incident took place on Wednesday, at the Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport located in Makassar.
Multiple angles of video footage show the right-wing igniting briefly into flames when the Boeing 747-400 took off.
The first video was captured by an airport building located near the runway. It shows a Boeing aircraft accelerating down the runway as flames appear on its wing.
Bystanders watching the take-off react in alarm as it successfully ascends off the ground.
The same incident is captured from a different angle by a group of people watching the takeoff outside the airport.
The pilot immediately abandoned the flight plan and returned the aircraft to the airport for safety investigation.
Garuda Indonesia is the flag carrier airline of Indonesia.
The decision was taken by the pilot-in-command immediately after take-off. He had noticed sparks of flame in one engine and felt it needed further investigation.
The plane was carrying 468 passengers and headed to Saudi Arabia.
The incident did not appear to have injured any passengers or crew.
