Bryce Mitchell posted on Instagram that he planned to homeschool his child to prevent him from becoming gay.
In a video posted on Instagram, Mitchell stated that he wants to shield his son from communist ideology, satanism, and homosexuality, among other things. Mitchell said in an Instagram video he wanted to protect his son against communist ideology and satanism as well as homosexuality.
Mitchell said in the video that “We will have to homeschool our children or they will all end up gay.” Tucker will be taught at home because I do not want him to turn into a Communist. In my opinion, he shouldn’t be worshipping Satan. I would prefer that he not be gay.
Mitchell criticised Edgar Allan Poe in particular, and stated that he preferred religious instruction to traditional literature. He stated that his son would read the Bible and not other books.
He added, “They replaced the book in classrooms with Edgar Allen Poe who lived with his cousin. Please understand that my child will not read any Edgar Allan Poe. He will be reading from the Bible.
Mitchell knew that his remarks would cause controversy, but didn’t let this stop him. You know I’ll be banned for this. I don’t really care. I love the truth, and I love children. If we do not provide for our kids, the next generation will be corrupted. He captioned his photo: “God can only save us from the wickedness of this country.”
His comments have been met with a wide range of responses on social media. Several UFC fighters expressed their support while others share his beliefs.
“Avoid letting them poison our children. UFC fighter Ricky Simon replied, “God bless brother.”
A follower commented, “Exactly, brother, I completely agree with you.”
Mitchell’s views were still questioned, even with his support. “Hopefully his son will not become a racist like his father. A commenter said that hatred has no place within a family. One commenter said: “Someone homeschooling is child abuse if they are as stupid as you.”
