A jury found Donald Trump guilty of 34 counts on Thursday in a case that was criticized by legal experts from all sides. The outcome of the trial was predictable from the start because the jury, the judge, and the prosecutor were all partisans.

Everyone knew throughout the trial that Trump was not getting a fair case. Juan Merchan did not even attempt to hide his bias towards Trump.

Democrats have been terrified of Trump’s return to power. They planned to impeach Trump before he took office in 2017. Now, they are planning to prevent him from returning to office. This strategy included not only lawfare, but also efforts to remove his name from all state ballots in the country.

Leftists realized that the New York City criminal trial was their first and most likely last attempt to get a conviction for one of the false cases against Trump. Trump’s chances of being acquitted were slim in the New York City criminal case because Trump’s political opponents engineered the whole process to achieve a conviction instead of a fair trial.

Alvin Bragg is the Manhattan District Attorney, a leftist who was funded by George Soros and ran a campaign to target Trump. Merchan, a Biden supporter, has made numerous decisions that have robbed Trump of due procedure.

The jury is another matter. How could Trump get a jury who would fairly decide his case? Trump was lucky to have one non-partisan Democrat on his jury. Merchan’s instructions to the jury, according to Trump’s former White House attorney Ty Cobb, “virtually required conviction” further stacked the deck against Trump.

All this for a non crime that the Biden Justice Department as well as Bragg’s previous administration refused to prosecute.

This verdict has chilling implications. The Democrats’ lawfare campaign has been successful, and it sets a dangerous precedent in which political power will be used against opponents without regard to justice or rule of law.

Democrats have shown repeatedly their intention to be the only ruling party. They will use government power to dismantle democracy and destroy their political opponents. We’ve always believed that this kind of thing could never happen in America. But thanks to the Democrats’ desperate search for power, America is closer than ever before to becoming too corrupt to exist.

The justice system has broken down.

Trump is sure to appeal and win, even if it takes months. But the justice system remains broken.

It’s frightening to think of this as a turning point for America. We must continue to fight to save our country from the Democrats, who are trying destroy it.
