Hunter has admitted to all charges. The maximum sentence for this crime is 25 years.
Townhall reporter Mia Cathell reported live on the proceedings from the courthouse.
Cathell wrote about a possible foreboding of Team Hunter’s defense:
Hunter Biden’s lawyers are relying heavily on the argument that Biden didn’t “knowingly” lie when he answered “No” to the question about whether he is a drug user or addict. ”
The defense argued that the terms “user” or “addict”, which were not defined on the form and he wasn’t told what they meant, had not been explained. ”
When the judge, defense attorneys and prosecutors interviewed potential jurors and dismissed some because of their political views or because they admitted they could not be neutral:
Some potential jurors, when asked about their political opinions, referred to Donald Trump’s criminal trials. Two of the potential jurors said that they thought Donald Trump was being prosecuted to benefit his election campaign.
NBC News reported another woman, Jury 40, who stated that people shouldn’t be allowed to buy guns because “they kill children in schools”.
Before dismissing the woman, she added: “If I were honest, I would ban all guns.”
A potential juror in the Hunter Biden federal gun crime trial who answered that he believes Donald Trump is treated differently than Democrats and is the victim of political persecution, was just struck from the jury pool

Hunter’s legal problems do not stop in California. David Weiss, a special counsel, has accused Hunter of not paying $1.4m federal taxes between 2016-2019.
Jeanine Pirro is a Fox News pundit who wonders whether justice will be served in this case. Donald Trump’s politically-motivated conviction on business fraud allegations last Thursday was nothing but a circus.
So Democrat minority leader Hakeem Jeffries says that Hunter Biden “did nothing wrong”….Really? An admitted coke user lies on a gun application and gets a gun and photographs it for all to see and then throws it away near a school……

Does he refuse to accept a jury’s verdict? Are the Democrats now fully in favor of the second amendment?
Both the Trump case and the Hunter trial are historic events. It marks two historic moments: the first conviction of a former U.S. president, and the first criminal prosecution against a child of an American President.
This might be an interesting experiment.
