Why do people invent fake hate crimes? Why are these people always on the left? When did the rule “fake it until you make it” become a Democrat standard?
Taral Patel is the latest example. He was arrested in Texas for faking racist messages and using the photo of an innocent Fort Bend resident as his profile picture. Yes, really.
A Texas politician has been arrested for allegedly sending himself fake hate messages on social media.
Texas Rangers arrested Taral Patel and charged him with online impersonation and misrepresenting his identity.
Authorities claim that Patel sent himself racist and derogatory remarks for months, pretending to be a Republican commissioner Andy Meyers’s supporter.
Months! Months! So brave, so courageous!
It was all fake, just like so many other things.
This is the most troubling part.
The law enforcement agency reported that Patel had used the image of an actual Fort Bend resident without their consent as his profile photo.
Patel’s fraud could have put this unnamed, unknown man in danger. It would seem that the Fort Bend resident who was defamed has a suit waiting for him. If the fraud had not been discovered, it is likely that anyone who recognized the innocent Fort Bend resident would have reacted badly. He could have lost a job. He could have died.
All to make a Democrat candidate look like a hero in a race to be a precinct commission. It would be funny if it weren’t so serious.
Patel’s post at the time of the fraud was as follows:
Patel stated in a Facebook post from September 2023 that he was always open to criticism about his policy positions and stances. Patel said, “I am always open to criticism of my policy positions and stances on issues as your Democratic candidate for County Commissioner,” in a September 2023 post on Facebook.
What a disgusting fraud. It is a disgrace that liars claim a moral high-ground to which, not only are they not entitled, but they also deserve the exact opposite: contempt and ridicule. It’s a good thing that, despite the consequences Patel may face, his political career is over.
As long as he is in Texas, that is.
