Joe Biden’s multiple public speeches on this topic were demanded by many after a would-be killer tried to shoot Donald Trump through the head on Saturday. We got that, however, as the president made three appearances. The latest was an Oval Office speech.
Biden, who was seated in front of a camera on Sunday night, read from a Teleprompter. He often lost his train of thought and stumbled over his words.

The substance of his remarks was disgraceful and tone-deaf. Biden, instead of staying on point and admitting Democrats had gone too far in their heated rhetoric regarding Trump as a “threat” to democracy, brought up Gretchen Whitmer or January 6th to try to divert attention. In both cases, there was no weapon used, and the perpetrators did not kill an innocent person or clip off the ear of the former president. What happened to Trump, as far as “attacks against our democracy” are concerned, is not comparable to the FBI-instigated kidnapping plot that never went beyond the planning stage.
Biden decided to be the “adult” in the room and asked everyone to “lower their temperature.”

Biden said that Trump was a dictator two days before he was killed. Biden had said two weeks earlier that Trump was “a genuine threat to the nation”, who would take away freedoms and end democracy. It is hypocritical for him to pretend he’s above all and demand others lower the heat. He should have used his Oval Office speech to directly contradict his rhetoric. He lied to the public instead about his guilt.

Is this what Biden and the entire Democratic Party was doing when they called Trump Hitler, a man who needed to be stopped “at all costs,” “eliminated,” and an “existential threat to Democracy.”

This Oval Office speech was never supposed to happen. No one wants to listen to a lecture by someone responsible for raising the temperature of the country. For years, people have warned that comparing your opponent with Hitler is dangerous. Biden and his cohorts did not listen. They just continued. Now they can’t float above it all, pretending that they weren’t involved.
What the President said tonight insulted the intelligence of all Americans. Biden, even if you ignore the fact that he is senile or can’t follow a teleprompter with no mistakes, needs to be defeated this November. The country deserves more than this.
