God’s Providence: Republicans Praise Divine Intervention in Trump Assassination Attempt

I am one of many Americans who are still in shock after a Pennsylvania man tried to assassinate Donald Trump. He is the 45th U.S. president.

Like many Christians in the United States, I also sought God’s comfort during this time of gloom and fear. I thought of how God’s providence is something no one can earn or deserve but that everyone should accept in humility.

Reince Priebus, who was at the Republican National Convention on Monday, appeared to paraphrase a verse from the Old Testament during ABC’s roundtable segment “This Week”. He said, “In tragedy, God will be our refuge.”

Psalm 46:1 reads as

God is our refuge and strength,

A very present help in trouble.

Monica Crowley is a conservative podcaster who was once a White House staffer. She highlighted the fact that even the President. Trump realized how much God saved him after that bullet nearly killed him.

Dan Patrick shared a text he sent to Trump, which was full of prayers and said “God has his hand” in the former president. The message read:

God saved your life through His grace and Mercy. I told you on our flight to Houston, not long ago that God has been with you since you became president. I hold this belief. Without God’s Grace, you would not have made it.

Who knows but you’re in your royal position now? The Bible verse: “And who can know but that you are in your royal position at this time?” Esther 4:14 contains this verse.

It speaks volumes about a man’s character that he was thinking of others only hours after a murder attempt. This is in line with Jesus’ commandment to Christians. This is something I’ve written about before. We are first to love God, and then we should love our neighbor.

Trump has authorized the opening a GoFundMe for donations for victims and their families. I noticed Arizona GOP Senate candidate Kari Lake, and Sen. J.D. Vance is (like Carson), being considered as a vice presidential nominee on the Republican ticket

Marco Rubio shared the same information on Sunday. He is a Republican running for veep.

It appears that the donation page was opened shortly after midnight Eastern Standard Time. At the time of writing this article, the fund had reached $3,231,354.

Aaron Cohen is a veteran of Israeli Special Operations who said Trump’s escape from the country was just an inch away.

He said: “God must have been watching over the President.”

I don’t always agree with the former House Speaker. However, this seems to be a good ending.
