Kai Trump Reveals What Donald Trump Is Like as a Grandfather, While Don Jr. Fires Up the Crowd

Donald Trump Jr. brought his oldest daughter Kai to the stage on the third day of the Republican National Convention. She wanted to show the audience, and anyone watching the convention, who the former president Donald Trump was as a grandparent, which you won’t hear in the mainstream media.

The young Trump began her speech with:

Hello, I’m Kai Madison Trump. I am Donald Trump’s granddaughter. Today, I want to show a side of my grandfather that is not often seen. To me, my grandpa is just like any other grandfather. He always asks how we are doing at school and gives us soda or candy when our parents don’t look.

She continued:

He pointed out my high honors list to show his friends that he was proud of me. He calls me in the middle of a school day and asks how my game of golf is going. Then he tells me about his. Then I remind him that school is in session and I will have to call back later. If I’m not on his team when we play golf, he will try to get into my head. He is always surprised that I do not let him get me. But I always have to remind him that I am also a Trump. He always asks how I am doing, even when he is going through these court cases. He encourages me to strive to be as successful as possible. He sets a high bar, but maybe I can catch up to him one day.

She talked about Trump’s attempted assassination:

When I heard on Saturday that he’d been shot, I was stunned. I wanted to know whether he was okay. It was heartbreaking to think that someone could do such a thing.

My grandpa has been through hell and still stands. You are an inspiration, Grandpa. I love you.

She spoke next about Trump’s media coverage.

The media portrays my grandfather as a completely different person. But I know who he is. He is very loving and caring; he wants to do the best for America and will fight every day to Make America great again.

Kai gave a fantastic speech and showed what Trump is really like, not the image he’s been given by the media for the last eight years.

Don Jr. spoke after Kai.

A few days ago, a once unimaginable situation turned into a nightmare. As a patriotic, incredible rally became a tragedy, my father was literally under fire. A brave firefighter was killed in Butler, Pennsylvania. Others were also injured. As the bullets fell, we were millimeters from one of our nation’s darkest moments.

Jr. paid tribute to Corey Comparator

We did, however, lose a hero in America that day. We wish he was with us today. His memory will always live on in the hearts and minds of his family, community, and nation that he loved.

Jr. continued:

What was the instinct of my father when his life was at stake? To show the world that the next American President has the heart and soul of a lion, rather than cower or surrender.

The Trump family delivers powerful speeches on the third RNC day.
