The forces of evil did not prevail, despite the efforts made by fanatic pro-Hamas demonstrators, who attempted to block Capitol roads, set fire alarms all night long at his hotel, and left maggots in the conference room reserved exclusively for Israelis. Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Prime Minister, addressed Congress on Wednesday as scheduled and tried his best to gain votes from the Biden-Harris administration in Michigan.
The event was boycotted by Nancy Pelosi, Ilhan Omar, and other notorious leftists. The list also included Cori Bush and Jamie Raskin. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez was on the list, as was Jamaal Bowman, the lame duck.
Almost always, Netanyahu was greeted with a warm welcome. He received standing ovations when he said that the Gaza War wasn’t a conflict of civilizations but rather one between barbarism, and modernity.
Netanyahu reminded the audience about the horror of the Hamas terrorist attack on October 7, 2023. He said that Oct. 7, 2023, would be the equivalent of twenty 9/11s for Israel and Americans. Then he introduced Noa Argamani, the rescued Israeli hostage, who was sitting in the gallery not far from Elon Musk. He was conciliatory in his approach and ignored the many ways that the Biden administration betrayed Israel. However, he did thank Biden for “his tireless efforts” on behalf of the hostages as well as his “heartfelt dedication to Israel”.
Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the false claim that Israel is an “apartheid-state” by introducing the Bedouin Muslim soldier and pointing out that in the Israeli Military Muslim soldiers fight with their Jewish Druze, Christian, and Christian comrades for the defense, and security, of their country.
Netanyahu was also harsh with anti-Israel protesters who, in his words, “stand for the evil and stand together with Hamas.” He told them to “be ashamed of themselves.” He said that gays who support Gaza are like chickens who support KFC.
He said that Israel has a 4,000-year history with the Jewish people. Claims that Israel is racist and genocidal were “outrageous lies,” according to him. He also addressed accusations from the International Criminal Court that Israel is starving the Gazan people.
In response to the ICC’s claim that Israel intentionally targets civilians, Netanyahu outlined all of Israel’s efforts to protect civilians. Col. John Spencer of West Point University said that Israel took more precautions in Gaza than any military in history, and went above what international law requires.
According to Netanyahu, Rafah is the place where civilian deaths are lowest. This is because Israel has moved civilians out of danger. Netanyahu claimed that the least number of civilians were killed in Gaza when Israel captured Rafah.
Netanyahu said that Iran is waging war with its proxy forces and that the U.S. is also in Iran’s sights. A Hizballah official was quoted as saying: “This is not a war against Israel.” Israel is just an instrument. Iran is aware that it must conquer America to do so. Israel stands in its way. ”
Netanyahu thanked Biden on several occasions, but also requested, without naming an apparent president, that the administration stop the slowdown in the supply of arms to Israel. According to him, “fast-tracking U.S. military aid” could end the Gaza War, and prevent a larger war in the Middle East.
Netanyahu compared his vision for Gaza after the war with that of Germany and Japan after World War II. He stated, “With the help of regional partners, and following our victories, demilitarization and deradicalization of Gaza can also lead to a future of peace and security.” “This is my vision of Gaza.”
Netanyahu also offered a vision for “the broader Middle East”: “America and Israel today can forge a security alliance in the Middle East to counter the growing Iranian threat.” Thanking Donald Trump for the Abraham Accords, he suggested calling this the “Abraham Alliance.”
It is possible, but it depends on the outcome of November. Netanyahu has expressed his confidence in our two countries’ ability to defeat terrorists and tyrants that threaten us both. It is inspiring to see his confidence. If the terrorists and dictators in Washington are defeated, then it may be possible for him to realize his optimistic vision.
