Democrats say at their convention they are about unity and joy. They demonize Americans who might support their opponents. The convention has been chaotic, with people not knowing the National Anthem and protesters outside.
Night 2 was a message of division and confusion.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT, spoke and did of course his “billionaires bad” shtick. It’s a problem that a large part of the Democratic Party, including Kamala Harris, wants to punish Americans who are successful.
Biden and Harris are responsible for the fact that more people live paycheck-to-paycheck. Kamala Harris is against the Trump tax cut that has helped working families. Their bad policies are to blame for crushing inflation. The Democrats are to blame, not the billionaires. But Democrats want to continue preaching about class warfare.
It was hilarious to see who was following Bernie’s speech — Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, a billionaire. J.B. Pritzker. This was a funny transition. Bernie says that we need a working economy for everyone, not just the billionaire elite.
Pritzker then said, “Take it from my real billionaire”, and attacked Trump’s wealth. But Trump is wealthier than him.
That’s the end of that attack. This showed how Democrats can be wrong even about the most basic things.
See if you can make any sense of it. Billionaires have a bad reputation. Except they’re Democrats. What a phony and ridiculous thing to say. Instead of penalizing or demonizing people for their success, we should celebrate them.
Van Jones and David Axelrod, the Democrats’ defenders, failed to defend their ridiculous approach.
Democrats are once again demonstrating that they’re stupid and don’t care about what the American people want. They’re only concerned about maintaining their power.
