Donald Trump’s Youngest Son Enrolls at New York University

Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump, started his first year at New York University this week, according to his father.

Trump confirmed the news in a video with Daily Mail. The interview confirmed months of rumors claiming that his son was going to attend the Stern School of Business at the University, one of the top business schools in the country.

Trump said, “He is a child with a high level of aptitude but he is no longer a kid. He’s passed beyond the child stage. He’s doing well.”

Barron Trump graduated from Oxbridge Academy in May, an exclusive school located near his father’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. He will be attending classes at NYU as a freshman, just a few minutes away from the Trump Tower where he grew up, and his father still maintains a residence.

It was not immediately clear whether he would be living on campus or at his home. An email inquiry regarding the enrollment was not answered by a spokesperson from NYU.

The Stern Campus is located in the heart of Manhattan, directly across from Washington Square Park. Last spring, pro-Palestinian demonstrators briefly occupied the business school’s plaza before police arrived and arrested them. The university implemented extra security measures to prepare for the possible return of protests.

Ivanka Trump and Tiffany Trump both graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Donald Trump Jr. also did. Trump, who attended Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, said that his youngest son was interested in the program, but chose not to attend.

“I went to Wharton, and that was certainly one that we were considering. We didn’t do that,” Trump told the Daily Mail. “We went to Stern.”
