Washington Commanders Exec Suspended After Explosive On-Camera Rant Against Players, Fans, and NFL Leaders

James O’Keefe, a conservative guerrilla journalist, has taken another scalp. Ironically, the latest scalp comes from a professional sports franchise that changed its name recently to avoid being associated with, amongst other things,’ scalping.

Rael Enteen has been suspended from the Washington Commanders after O’Keefe released a video of Enteen on September 4, 2024. Enteen was captured on camera vilifying white and black members of the team, their fans, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, and Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Enteen’s remarks include accusations of homophobia, racism, and alcoholism.

A member of O’Keefe’s organization pretended to date Enteen on two separate outings. Enteen’s words were, to put it mildly.

Highlights:

Enteen’s opinion on the Commanders’ roster was not based on athletic ability but on a set of demographics that he found distasteful.

More than half of our members are very low-income African Americans who come from a very homophobic community. I love hip-hop. Hip-hop can be homophobic. I hope it gets better.

I’d say that more than half of the people are likely homophobic. The remaining 49%, let’s say, aren’t necessarily homophobic. It doesn’t necessarily mean that they want to record a video saying “Come to Pride Parade.”

Enteen doesn’t like the intelligence of NFL players.

Some people are as dumb as a brick, while others are extremely intelligent. It’s a sad, but fact that some people start smart and then get so many blows to the head that they lose their intelligence. I’m sorry to say this, but athletes and NFL players who have their heads knocked about a lot are more likely to believe stupid conspiracy theories.

Who pays Enteen’s wage, the fans? He is not a fan.

Most of the supporters, I’d say, are alcoholics with a high school education. There are fights all the time in the stands.

Enteen responded when the journalist used “lower class people” as the follow-up to her question.

I would never use this term. I’d just call them mouth breathers. (Laughs). I know it’s worse. They only need to look at the beer sales they make to determine if they are alcoholics.

Enteen is not a fan of her job, even though it’s one that most creatives in the media (including myself) would love to hold.

Isn’t my job to sell the fans hope? I need them to buy tickets. Even when there isn’t much hope for sales, I have to dig deep to find them.

Enteen gave this example as an example:

In the middle of an important game, we had sewage leaking from pipes onto our fans. It was sewage, but I had to post on social media that it wasn’t. This is state-run news.

Enteen’s words were meant to comfort fans and former supporters who lamented the NFL becoming a worker in 2020.

OMG JOURNALIST – How do you explain that the NFL is so much into social injustice?

ENTEEN: It’s performative.

OMG JOURNALIST: What are you saying?

ENTEEN: It’s not out of the goodness of heart or morality. It’s because George Floyd has changed the game.

I’m referring to the fact that social justice is a show for public perception and not to make progress.

OMG JOURNALIST: To gain support from liberals

ENTEEN: No. I believe it is to make the most money possible. Like any corporation, I believe the NFL is most concerned with the bottom line. They don’t have to pinch pennies because they generate so much revenue. They can therefore pretend to prioritize DEI to gain good publicity.

Enteen called NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a “$50 Million Puppet.”

I don’t believe the NFL commissioner hates gays, but he does hate blacks. Jerry Jones is the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, runs the NFL. I believe he hates black and gay people.

Washington Commanders’ website has the slogan “Raise hail,” which is an unspoken acknowledgment of the Redskins’ “Hail To The Redskins” song from when they were known as the Redskins. The Commanders’ only option, now that the thoughts of at least one executive are public knowledge, is to exert maximum damage control.
