Bombshell Interview: IRS Whistleblowers Reveal New Details After Hunter Biden’s Guilty Plea

Gary Shapley, an IRS criminal investigator, and Joseph Ziegler, a former IRS employee, came forward and blew the whistle about the preferential treatment Hunter Biden received from the DOJ. It looked as if the president’s child would not be held accountable for the numerous crimes he committed, which were many documented on his laptop from hell. Hunter Biden entered an open plea of guilty to nine criminal charges of tax evasion. He will be sentenced early in December.

The whistleblowers faced professional retaliation before they came forward to Congress and public scorn, as well as additional retaliation, but after Biden pleaded guilty, their supervisor sent them a perfunctory email congratulating them, thanking for their “commitment and dedication to the mission which culminated in an excellent conviction.” It’s puzzling but probably done to try and whitewash the retaliation against Shapley & Ziegler.

Catherine Herridge has revealed some new information in her latest interview with whistleblowers. It’s not surprising and we all assumed that it was true, but it is good to have the sources confirmed on record.

Here is a full image of the email Shapley received from Ziegler after Hunter Biden pleaded guilty:

This is the full email:

“I wanted to thank you for all your hard work in the Sportsman investigation. I know that this investigation took a long time and required significant sacrifices on your part. “Thank you for your dedication to the mission. It culminated in an incredible conviction.”

Herridge told the whistleblowers that although they felt vindicated after Biden’s guilty verdict, their supervisors’ words were hollow.

The actions of the agency do not support the words.

This person, according to me, is someone who is aware that the IRS is currently investigating the way they handled the situation and that they can see the writing on their wall. It is a perfect example of a bureaucrat covering up for themselves.

Investigating Sensitive Matters

We’ve seen it all while following the story. The IRS has a double standard when it comes to criminal investigations. Shapley & Ziegler have revealed that not all taxpayers are equal to them – some preferential treatment has been baked into the IRS manual.

Ziegler told Herridge:

A recent IRS internal attorney told me that, because of the way the process was set up, it creates preferential treatment to these large and elite companies, since, you know, back when Hunter Biden was in office, we had to get additional approvals on everything that we did. The local businessman does not need special permissions. I’ll just go to the scene and investigate.

Shapley explained who is protected by the term “sensitive investigations” and what it means.

The Internal Revenue Manual has a list of sensitive people, which includes politicians, CEOs, and high-net-worth individuals. It also requires many additional approvals in order to conduct an investigation.

The two also had to adhere to a strict timeline around the 2020 presidential elections. Ziegler stated that the documents released by Special Counsel Jack Smith about Donald Trump would never have been released so close to an election had Trump’s surname been Biden.

“Compared to our investigation, there were many overt investigative actions that we weren’t allowed to take due to an upcoming election.” It was the son of the [now] President, not the candidate. We were also prohibited from taking certain investigative measures.

Shapley added:

Based on what we’ve seen in the Hunter Biden Case, this document would never have been released four weeks before an election.

The Department of Justice set a precedent in relation to investigations that are ongoing and elections with the Hunter Biden Case. If they don’t do that and instead take a more aggressive approach, it is clear that they have a double standard.

Knew Laptop Was Real in 2019

Shapley, Ziegler, and the DOJ all confirmed that they were aware that the laptop is real. The FBI also knew this. Herridge asked: When did they learn this? Ziegler replied:

“It took place many months before the October 2020 date.” As early as late 2019, we were confirming that certain aspects of the event were real and legitimate.

The entire operation was designed to persuade American media outlets that any news relating to the laptop or its content was Russian disinformation.

Blinken and Disinformation

Secretary of State Antony Blinken orchestrated a letter claiming that the story about the laptop was Russian disinformation. Blinken was a longtime advisor to Joe Biden when the story first broke. Ziegler stated that Blinken also had a conflict of interest because of his relationship with Joe Biden.

Various reports said that this could be Russian disinformation. One of these people is the Secretary of State. Hunter Biden’s laptop contained several emails with his name in them. There is a conflict.

“It’s clear that this was an attempt to discredit the information before an election. I suppose you could conclude that there was a purpose for affecting the election.”

Herridge asked: Why would former intelligence agents claim that the laptop story had the classic hallmarks of Russian disinformation? Ziegler replied:

“As a Special Agent and as a Criminal Investigator, with what I know and do, I can’t imagine how they could come to this conclusion about the laptop.”

Shapley added:

It was a form of misinformation to present something as if it were misinformation.

Herridge points to the fact that the investigators, who knew the laptop existed, would not have spoken out publicly, because they could have violated the tax code. According to the reactions of Hunter Biden’s lawyers and Democrat apologists, if Shapley or Ziegler had come forward publicly without whistleblower rights, they would likely have been prosecuted.

Joe Biden is ‘The big guy’

Shapley claimed that they knew exactly who The Big Guy was, even though legacy media and Democrat pundits have continued to claim no one knows who “The Big Guy,” referred to by emails found on Hunter Biden’s laptop.

Yes, we have confirmed that The Big Guy is Joe Biden.

What about their managers? Did they think that Joe Biden is The Big Guy? Shapley said that

It was never in doubt that “The Big Guy”, as Joe Biden is known, was referring.

Not only IRS employees knew that Joe Biden was The Big Guy. Ziegler claims that FBI agents and the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office also knew/believed this.

When we did the interviews, the Delaware prosecutors specifically told us they didn’t wish to ask about The Big Guy because they knew that it was Joe Biden.

If they had asked about The Big Guy during an interview, and gotten information proving that Joe Biden received bribes/cash in the form of foreign agents’ money, then the U.S. attorney would have to investigate. They were trying to maintain plausible denial by not asking about The Big Guy.

The investigation revealed that Joe Biden received money from foreign actors through his family.

The whole thing was, in the end, about enriching one family, the Biden family, through access to a government. You can see that James Biden and other members of the Biden Family received money from these financial transactions. How do foreign officials pay U.S. political figures? How do they pay their families?

Retaliation

Shapley, Ziegler, and other IRS employees have said that they would be willing to come forward as whistleblowers but are waiting and watching what happens with Shapley & Ziegler. They have paid a lot of money for their personal and professional lives, which could discourage potential whistleblowers.

Shapley said

They immediately isolated. They immediately began to make our jobs harder. Take away immediate promotion opportunities.

IRS has me under a blanket of fear, hoping I will quit or that they can terminate me. They probably also hope I will commit suicide. The way the IRS treats me and the way DOJ treats me has ended my career.

Ziegler replied that he would do it again.

I would do it again without hesitation. It was the right decision. However, I have lost some personal relationships. The depression has taken a toll. I am not wealthy. I am just like everyone else. I live paycheck to paycheck. I am doing the best I can to survive, but I’m facing a machine with millions of dollars that is capable of fighting me and wearing you down.

Why does it matter?

Although Joe Biden won’t be running for reelection, and Hunter Biden was convicted, the issues that these whistleblowers raised and the retaliation faced by them are still very important, because as Shapley stated, it is not about the elections:

It’s not the election. It’s not about the election. It’s confidence in this government. The United States government. People have to feel confident that justice will be administered fairly regardless of who they are.

Hunter Biden is now facing some accountability for his crimes, and we have avoided another Joe Biden term. There are likely dozens more felonies that he could be charged with based on evidence found on his laptop, but without the whistleblowers, Hunter Biden still would be a free man, and the Laptop From Hell still would be regarded as Russian disinformation. The bribery, foreign influence, and other crimes would have been known to dozens of federal investigators who ignored them. At this stage, the victory is partial and only the tip of the iceberg. It is important to stand up for these whistleblowers as they fight the IRS and Hunter Biden.
