The FBI has come under a lot of scrutiny in recent years, and it is well deserved. However, when they get it right, they really get it right. A terrorist suspect was arrested and identified by Houston, Texas.

Anas Said, 28, was arrested by FBI Houston SAC Douglas Williams. Anas Said is accused of attempting to provide material support to ISIS and planning a terrorist act in the United States, which he admits to.
According to FBI briefings, the suspected terrorist was looking for ways to commit acts of terror within the United States.

As of this writing, it’s unclear if Anas acted alone.

According to reports, the plotter planned to attack military recruitment centers, including those in Houston.
The FBI Houston announced on Thursday that a man was arrested for allegedly trying to support ISIS. He admitted that he had planned an attack against U.S. soil.
Anas Sayed, 28, was arrested at his apartment in west Houston.
Said admitted to the FBI he had been researching ways to attack military recruitment centers in his locality. Said also offered to house ISIS agents and boasted about his ability to carry out an “attack of 9/11 style”, if he had the money.
Said was charged with providing material support to ISIS.
The FBI does not (of course) release any information regarding the nature of this case, Said’s identity, or the evidence that was used against him. The FBI in Houston has been paid for this month, but a terrorist threat is no longer at large.
