After the devastating defeat of Vice President Kamala Harris on Election Day by Donald Trump, now-President elect, Saturday was another day filled with anger and finger-pointing.
The rage directed at the American public for being “stupid”, and refusing to support Harris, has evolved into a circular firing squad within the party.
Bernie Sanders of Vermont, an independent senator who is as left-wing and radical as they come released a scathing statement the day following the election. Sanders blamed Harris for her “disastrous campaign” and accused Democrats of abandoning working-class voters.
Sanders wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that the historic defeat should “come to no great surprise”, after a substantial number of working-class votes — first the Latino working class and later the black and white working classes — turned to Trump for assistance. This demonstrable fact drives the Democrat clown car craze.
Nancy Pelosi is a former House Speaker who suffers from stage-4 Trump Derangement Syndrome. She has had this condition since the 2016 Presidential Election, when Trump lost to Hillary Clinton in the popular vote but won the Electoral College.
Pelosi was not happy at all with Bernie’s remarks, which were right on the money.
Sanders may be an independent but he acts, walks, and talks like a leftist Democrat. The public spat between Bernie and Nancy is a lot of fun.
Pelosi was absolutely furious with Sanders on Saturday in the “The Interview” Podcast of The New York Times.
The former Speaker began his argument by stating that it would have better served the Democrat Party if Biden had withdrawn from the reelection race sooner, and then the party could have held a competitive primaries to replace him.
Here’s Nancy:
If the president had resigned sooner, other candidates may have entered the race. As I said, Kamala could have been a candidate. I believe she would have performed well and be stronger moving forward. We don’t know. This didn’t happen. We accept what happened. Because the president immediately endorsed Kamala, it was almost impossible at that point to hold a primary. It would have been very different if it had happened much earlier.
I’m going to mark this down as Pelosi accusing Biden and Harris of the loss.
What if Nancy “forgets”, that she and former president Barack Obama were the ones who led the coup to force Biden out of office in favor of Harris? She wants this part of the story to be simply forgotten.
Pelosi’s doublespeak was a result of her berating Sanders for his previous comments on the “disastrous Harris campaign” and how the party abandoned the working class.
While I respect him [Sanders] for what he represents, I do not respect his claim that the Democratic Party abandoned working-class families. This is where we are.
Sanders was right when he said that “we” (Pelosi, the Democrat Party), are exactly where Sanders claimed they were.
The Harris-Walz campaigns’ attempt to appeal to the working class of America while also pandering to the upper-class Democrat elites including Hollywood celebrities did not help. Instead, it exposed how out of touch they were with hard-working Americans.
Pelosi could not stop herself from vaguely blaming Harris’ loss on sexism racism, homophobia, and religion.
Elections are also influenced by cultural issues. They say that guns, God, and homosexuals are all interconnected.
Who’s they, Nancy?
Conclusion:
Democrats like Nancy Pelosi don’t understand it and never will. The radical left has hijacked her party, and moderate Democrats who were once in the party have been driven away and are afraid to speak against the radical madness within the party.
We can only hope that the majority of Democrats continue to believe in what Nancy Pelosi says.
