The United States Senate is heating up as Senator Chuck Schumer (DNY) watches his days as the majority chief dwindles at an alarming rate. Schumer promises to use the last days of Democrat control to get as many ultra-lefty judicial nominees as possible. Donald Trump is expected to return to the White House and a Republican majority of 53 seats looks imminent.
A nominee of this type, United States Magistrate Judge Mustafa T. Kasubhai from Oregon, appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday in a desperate attempt by Democrats to place as many radical activist judges as possible, like Kasubhai on the federal bench, before the new Congress takes office on January 3, 2025. This is one of the last remaining powers for the weakened Democrat Party.
Judge Kasubhai has a lot of talent. Democrats have been pushing for his appointment to the U.S. District Court – a lifetime appointment – for more than a year. Kasubhai’s nomination has been strongly resisted by Republicans. He is a radical.
Take for example this interaction between Sen. Mike Lee, (R-UT), and Kasubhai, at a hearing of confirmation in October 2023:
You said: “DEI — Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion — is the heart of the court system. Can we say this? “Yeah, I did it and I’m proud of it,” Lee quoted the nominee. “Judge, can you explain what this means?”
Kasubhai responded: “Accessing justice is the core of my work in the courtroom. I ensure that everyone is treated with dignity and respect when they enter the courtroom, and that is me who presides over these cases.”
Kasubhai was the first Muslim American appointed to a federal bench. John Kennedy, the favorite Southern senator (R-LA), brought Kasubhai back to Capitol Hill on Thursday to talk about some issues. Kasubhai, for example, insists that anyone appearing before his court use their pronouns.
This was not the first time that it’s been entertaining to watch Sen. Kennedy in action.
KENNEDY: I’m reading an order that you issued here as a magistrate court requiring the usage of pronouns within your court. Do you insist on the use of pronouns in your court? Do you require the declaration of pronouns?
Kasubhai was visibly uncomfortable when answering the question. He stammered: “It is an invitation to people to identify either their pronouns, or their honorifics.”
KENNEDY: I’m looking at the requirement that you issued to all people in your court. You say, “When you introduce yourself in a meeting, you should say, ‘My name is Judge ___ and my pronouns are ___.'” Is that right?
KASUBHAI: Senator, these were not rules or requirements, but suggestions that people could use.
Here’s where Sen. Tom Cotton, R-AR, Kennedy’s fellow senator from Arkansas starts to lose his cool.
In your directive to the council, you should also say: “I would like counsels to introduce themselves by giving their full names and honorifics such as Mr., Ms., or Mx.”
The “Mx.” Who can blame Tom Cotton? Last week, voters agreed that it was a ridiculous, absurd story, and should be laughed at. Cotton exploded when Kennedy pointed out that the word “Mrs.” was not in Judge Kasubhai’s directive.
You should watch it:

As we all laugh at the Democrats, the Democrats are becoming more and more tense. They are not only in exile but they have yet to understand that the message voters sent last week was the rejection of pronoun garbage promoted by radicals such as Judge Kasubhai. His “justice”, which is a bunch of nonsense, will probably be approved by Senate Democrats as a final gasp. But the American electorate has rejected it.
You can expect more epic John Kennedy moments in the coming weeks as Democrats try to get these leftists onto the bench.
